Shifts, required to work evenings. Responsibilities: The IOP Therapist will be responsible to help develop and run an evening IOP Tele-health program. Also, the Therapist is responsible to conduct therapeutic services for patients and provide counseling sessions for families, individuals and groups. Understanding of The Joint Commission (TJC), AHCA, OSHA and applicable state and federal regulatory requirements. Must be able to effectively communicate with patients and their family members, multidisciplinary treatment team members, managed care representatives and external agencies in a clear, concise, calm, professional manner. Demonstrate excellent critical thinking and organizational skills. Physical Requirements: Move efficiently enough to meet the needs of several patients and/or move rapidly to provide timely intervention of patient aggression. Able to stand, sit and walk during work shift. Able to hear spoken words in a normal vocal range, respond to signals, alarms, codes or other displays. Recognize vocal intonation that signal changes in acuity. Able to bend, reach and stoop. Must write legibly so as to accurately convey information. Able to read instructions and complete documentation and reports. Restrain, as part of a team, an aggressive patient in a safe and therapeutic manner.
