Job Summary
To provide comprehensive mental health services to clients using a blend of traditional and innovative therapeutic techniques.
Services will follow a strengths-based model that will help develop and build skills that will help the client function autonomously and successfully
To work with the Hawaii Behavioral Health clinical team in developing and approving treatment plans that are focused on the client's needs and recognize their strengths.
To provide support and assistance to CAMHD program as needed
To assist Clinical Supervisor in facilitating Training and Group Supervision
Responsibilities
General:
Contributes to Hawaii Behavioral Health Mission, Vision, and Program philosophies by way of work product and professional behavior with both internal and external consumers.
Complies with all initial and annual training requirements.
Attends staff/agency meetings as required.
Completes other duties as directed by Program Manager and Clinical Director.
Clients:
Maintains a caseload of 30 clients.
Conducts psychological assessment to evaluate client's mental health condition(s) and needs.
Facilitates the development of an individualized treatment plan.
Provide a mix of in-person and remote counseling sessions to individuals including children, adults, couples, families, or groups, as required.
Utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, and other innovative methods tailored to client needs.
Keep accurate and up to date client records, documenting all therapy sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes. (Documentation to be done within 24 hours after services have been delivered)
Maintains all client documentation in the electronic record and must make sure that they are adhering to requirements set by any State/Federal Laws, including HIPAA and the Professional Ethics Code
Adheres to all current federal and state laws, Hawaii Behavioral Health policies and procedures, as well as all Professional Codes and Standards, including the safeguarding of confidential healthcare information and compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all ethical guidelines
Reports immediately any suspected incidents of child abuse or neglect to the Child Abuse Hotline.
Education & Experience
Master's degree in social work, psychology, or other related discipline
Valid Hawaii state license to practice as a therapist (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW)
At least two years prior experience working in the behavioral health field
Experience with a variety of therapeutic approaches and modalities

Clients:
Maintains a caseload of 30 clients.
Conducts psychological assessment to evaluate client's mental health condition(s) and needs.

Provide a mix of in-person and remote counseling sessions to individuals including children, adults, couples, families, or groups, as required.
Utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, and other innovative methods tailored to client needs.
Keep accurate and up to date client records, documenting all therapy sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes. (Documentation to be done within 24 hours after services have been delivered)
Maintains all client documentation in the electronic record and must make sure that they are adhering to requirements set by any State/Federal Laws, including HIPAA and the Professional Ethics Code
