Compensation:
Up to $100,300, based on licensure type/level, session volume, and bonus opportunities.

: The Children/Adolescent Mobile Crisis Team is a two-person team available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to respond to Cullman County residents in a mental health crisis. Their goal is to assess crisis needs and then work to resolve the immediate crisis either through direct crisis intervention or warm hand-off to the services needed to resolve the crisis. A key to successful outcomes is continuous monitoring of the status of the clients being served from initial call to warm hand-off. This position will work 3rd shift Monday - Friday, 11:00PM to 7:00AM.
What you'll be doing:
Help individuals experiencing a crisis event to experience relief quickly and resolve the crisis situation when possible.
Respond where the person is (home, work, park, etc.) and not restrict services to select locations within the region or particular days/times.
Provide appropriate care/support while avoiding unnecessary law enforcement involvement, ED use, and hospitalization.
Connect individuals to facility-based care as needed through warm hand-offs and coordinating transportation when and only if situations warrant transition to other locations.
Provide quality documentation of client status before and after intervention as well as the actions taken by the crisis team are critical due to the short term and high intensity nature of the crisis team.
Complete all documentation by end of shift. This allows for staff interacting next with the client to have complete information.
Complete other duties as assigned.
