JOB SUMMARY:
The Therapist provides clinical social work services in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of
Lakeside Behavioral Health. The Therapist is responsible for psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family
therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, and discharge planning/case management
service, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the hospital.

minimum requirements for this position. Staff must demonstrate flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to
varied populations including, adults and dually diagnosed patients in an inpatient and partial hospital setting.
Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Social Services
related field required, licensure required.
Experience: Prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in
an outpatient setting.
Licensure/Certification: TN LCSW or LPC required.
Knowledge: Prefer knowledge of case management, discharge planning, group leadership skills,
age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management, family
therapy theory and practice. Substance abuse experience highly preferred.
Supervision Received: Director of Social Services, Program Directors, Program Coordinators
