Responsibilities
Provide the highest possible standard of treatment, creating a sensory journey for guests helping them to rest, relax and regain a sense of balance and harmony in their lives.
Responsible for setting up the treatment rooms according to procedures and disposing of laundry in a timely basis.
Maintain sanitation of work area and equipment as required by state board guidelines.
Ensure all professional stock is being used in compliance with the PAR levels to assist with reduction in product waste.
To begin and end treatments at the published time and ensure correct procedures of all treatments are being always followed.
Relay with confidence product and service benefits to clients.
Attend all required department trainings and meetings.
Perform any other duties required by management.
Qualifications
Current State Massage License
1 year of minimum experience in massage therapy
Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed during busy times and high-profile events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be passionate about providing warm, engaging, and personalized service.
Must have the ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
Must meet standards of appearance and always maintain a high level of personal hygiene.

The Encore Boston Harbor Therapist - Spa will be responsible for ongoing coordination within the Spa Department. Responsible for providing all massage services to every guest according to Encore Service Standards in the spa facility or any other venues on the Encore Resort property where massage services are offered. This includes, but is not limited to: maintaining processes, scheduling, and supporting department team members and maximizing opportunities for departmental success; maintaining all Encore Standards; and ensuring excellent guest and team member experience.
