Job Description
As a MassageTherapist you will be responsible for providing Massage and Spa services to guests with unparalleled personalized service, professionalism and come with exceptional knowledge in the field of the healing arts.
Greet guests warmly and escort guests to and from treatment rooms while attending to any immediate needs throughout their Spa visit.
Prepare treatment rooms to client specifications while also adhering to the property service standards
Perform prep work and properly clean and restock the room as required and needed.
Ensure guest comfort and safety throughout the treatment.
Maintain professional ethics while ensuring personalized service is provided to each guest so they feel their needs are met.
Maintain the work area with necessary supplies. Ensure the room is immaculate at all times as well as cleanliness of all other spa areas including locker rooms.
Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures.
Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa including guest complaints or misconduct.
Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions, and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
The starting range for this position is $20.00 hour + service charge + tips. This is the pay rate for this position that Stanly Ranch reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years experience as a licensed massagetherapistMassageTherapist State License required
Experience in a luxury spa and/or hotel spa environment preferred
Personal, excellent communication skills, professionalism and love for healing
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Commitment to a minimum of three days a week inclusive of weekends.

Job Summary and Responsibilities
This position is self-directed, requiring full participation and dedication within a self-directed team. The purpose of this position is to provide a variety of services that include: initial intake; assessments; brief therapy, crisis evaluation; phone triage with clients, procuring re-authorization from insurance companies to pay for services, coordination of mental healthcare benefits for clients and other behavioral health patients, and referrals to appropriate services. This position requires using only therapeutic procedures approved by the Manager and within professional scope of practice, adherence to organizational policies, the W & I Code and organizational billing requirements, and professional and ethical behavior at all times. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provides direct mental health services to clients of all ages. Develops individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and objectives. Maintains 75% of time spent in providing direct clients services that can be billed. Provides extensive and accurate documentation in a timely and thorough manner regarding services. Coordinates with others to procure insurance authorizations. Performs the necessary documentation and tracking functions needed to comply with health plan and contractual requirements Participates in peer review upon request.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
1-3 years post-licensure clinical experience. Experience in providing a variety of clinical modalities and services to clients of all ages and a broad variety of diagnoses. Required skills include assessment, formulation of treatment plans;intervention planning and follow through, providing documentation of services. Evaluating suicidal and homicidal risk and other high risk situations (i.e. psychotic process; drug/alcohol use/intoxication.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Masters degree in an appropriate behavioral science discipline. Maintain current continuing education units as required for license renewal.
Current unrestricted license in the State of California as a Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
DSM IV and 5. Normal and abnormal psychology. Assessment skills and crisis intervention. Treatment planning and intervention skills. Individual and group treatment methods. Sensitivity to and awareness of cultural and ethnic diversity of clients. Ethical and legal issues. Community resources. Billing and documentation requirements Effective verbal and written communication skills. Maintain an appropriate balance between direct client contact and documentation time. Adhere to all client confidentiality requirements and standards. Manage significant electronic paperwork functions necessary to support insurance billing. Ability to manage the case load and schedule to meet productivity expectations; 75% of time must be spent in providing direct client services that can be billed. Ability to effectively resolve conflict and cope with crisis situations. Ability to establish and maintain rapport to engage clients effectively in treatment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Three or more years post-licensure experience preferred due to insurance contract requirements. Experience
working in substance abuse treatment, eating disorders and/or experience leading groups and classes is desirable

Responsibilities:
Conduct high-quality relational psychotherapy for 15-28 hours a week.
Complete 120 paid hours of clinical training.
Provide a high level of customer service and client care to all prospects & current clients, colleagues, and our community.
Follow all business procedures and policies. Practice strong attention to detail in administrative duties and client/colleague communication.
Conduct self professionally in all work interactions.
Attend staff meetings, training, and retreats (some are optional, some mandated).
Mandatory Time/Day commitment: Commitment is a minimum of 15 client hours for part time and 24 client hours for full time, 9 clinical hours must be in prime client times (evenings, weekends, or early mornings).

JOB SUMMARY

Job Description
As a MassageTherapist you will be responsible for providing Massage and Spa services to guests with unparalleled personalized service, professionalism and come with exceptional knowledge in the field of the healing arts.
Greet guests warmly and escort guests to and from treatment rooms while attending to any immediate needs throughout their Spa visit.

Maintain the work area with necessary supplies. Ensure the room is immaculate at all times as well as cleanliness of all other spa areas including locker rooms.
Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures.
Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa including guest complaints or misconduct.
Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions, and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
The starting range for this position is $20.00 hour + service charge + tips. This is the pay rate for this position that Stanly Ranch reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.

We are seeking a licensed MassageTherapist to join our clinic through our Medical Massage Apprenticeship Program. This position is ideal for therapists who want to transition into medical massage and are motivated to learn, grow, and work through challenges with support.
You will learn how to:
Treat a clients chief complaint using clinical reasoning
Work with physician referrals and post-injury or post-surgical cases
Integrate deep tissue, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy safely and effectively
Communicate clearly with clients about treatment goals and anatomy
Document care using supportive, easy-to-learn SOAP notes that help track progress and tell the story of each clients healing.
No prior medical massage experience is required. A willingness to learn, receive feedback, and grow is essential.
What Youll Do
Provide customized massage therapy sessions based on a clients chief complaint and/or physician prescription
Integrate deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release as appropriate
Educate clients on treatment-phase care vs. maintenance-phase care
Maintain accurate and timely SOAP notes (training provided)
Build strong therapeutic relationships with clients
Work collaboratively with a supportive clinical team
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment
Manage time effectively, starting and ending sessions as scheduled
What Were Looking For
Current state massage therapy license and liability insurance
Interest in medical or clinical massage and a desire to continue learning
Ability or willingness to develop confidence working with muscular attachments and insertions in clinically relevant areas (hip, pelvic, inner thigh, sacral, sternal or pectoral), supported by mentorship and clear clinical protocols
Willingness to confidently and professionally explain
why
certain areas are treated when addressing conditions such as low back, hip, or knee pain
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professionalism, integrity, and a high ethical standard
Compassion and a genuine desire to help people manage acute or chronic pain
Experience with medical massage techniques is helpful but not required. Mentorship and training are provided.

Every other Sunday: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
Weekday evenings: MondayFriday, 5:00 PM 10:00 PM
Approximately 2528 hours per week
