Schedule / Expected Work Hours:
6-8-hour shifts
Required 1 weekend shift
Minimum 4 shifts per week
Responsibilities
Customize massage services for each guest.
Perform service enhancements using Hot Stones, Cupping, CBD, and Aromatherapy.
Promote the therapeutic benefits of regular massage therapy
Build relationships with your guests to help them meet their self-care goals
Train and mentor massage therapists on protocols and service enhancements
Support onboarding new massage therapists in the Retreat
Set the standard for high-quality therapy and guest service through ongoing training and support of massage and skincare therapists.
Uphold all Massage Heights standards of practice, policies, procedures, and protocols through training and professional behavior.
Communication liaison between back-of-house staff and management
Lead the massage team toward the achievement of retreat goals
Qualifications
Current state license to perform massage therapy
Must have liability insurance
Pass background checks
Capable of effectively performing full-body 50-minute/80 minute/110-minute massage services
Excellent at guest communication
Capable of training and mentoring individuals
Proven leadership skills

Responsibilities
Providing massage treatments to patients upon referral from the RN Case Manager
Reviewing patient chart and medical history prior to initiating treatment
Working within the complementary and alternative health care client bill of rights
Documenting all patient visits according to policies and procedures
Actively participating in the hospice interdisciplinary team
Participating in the QAPI hospice performance improvement program
Ensuring compliance with all state and federal legal and regulatory requirements
Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Formal massage training and education from an accredited or approved program
National Certification by the Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork preferred
Licensed in the state of operation
2+ years clinical experience as a massage therapist
Understanding of the hospice philosophy
