The following qualifications are required:
Master's degree in Social Services or related field
Licensed as an independent practitioner with AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LISAC ) or as a Psychologist by the AZ Board of Psychologist Examiners (unless hired as Provisional Therapist)
Experience in Behavioral Health with at-risk youth or adults
Experience conducting individual, group, or family therapy or special focus groups
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
First Aid certification (may be completed with MHC upon hire)

Completes Monthly Progress Reports on all appropriate clients, ensuring these reports are sent to the appropriate persons and agencies.
Works effectively with all clients and families, providing quality and timely assessments, service planning, service reviews, discharge planning, and aftercare planning within a recovery model of care.
Provides all clients with appropriate referrals to other community agencies as needed or requested.
Maintains an appropriate number of direct service hours and ensures the Intake Team has current information regarding availability.
Provides supervision to non-licensed Behavioral Health staff, interns, or externs as appropriate and documents all supervision provided.
Acts as a willing and efficient liaison between MHC Behavioral Health Services and other behavioral health agency staff, school district employees, RBHA/ACC staff, and court employees.
Acts as a productive member of the Behavioral Health team by participating in departmental meetings, client staffings, case reviews, staff development, and policy and procedure development.
Assumes responsibility for understanding guidelines and procedures for all department contracts and requests clarification if necessary.
Observes applicable state and federal laws, assumes responsibility for knowledge of laws, and requests clarification if necessary.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adhere to all standard policies and procedures.
Perform all guest activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner, at all times maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Report to work on time in a properly cleaned and pressed uniform. Hygiene is key in this environment due to the close proximity working with the clients. At no time is cigarette smoke allowed to be on the hands, hair, clothes, or breath of a spa employee during a shift.
Adhere to a professional relationship with clients of The Spa. Discussion of internal matters of any sort with clients is not permitted.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide consistent professional services in accordance with spa protocols.
Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures.
Properly care for equipment and implements and tools and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.
Have complete knowledge and understanding of all massage services and products while educating and training guests in these areas.
Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
Handle guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
Possess ability to work without direct supervision.
Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings.
Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
Perform all services for which training has been received in the allotted period and without personal interpretation of the treatment application.
Promote and sell retail products.
Keep work area neat and clean at all times, personal items should never be visible.
Keep work area stocked with sufficient supplies for a full day of operation.
Clean equipment and common areas used after performing services.
Properly use authority within given guidelines to ensure guest satisfaction.
Inform managers of ways to improve overall operation of the spa, your working experience and the comfort of our guests.
Assist other departments whenever necessary (and available).
Attend all training sessions, learning new techniques to be used in the performance of the job.
Attend Omni required training classes.
Maintain current certifications/licenses to be displayed in the Spa. A copy will be kept on file in the Spa. It is the therapist's responsibility to never allow this license to expire. If this happens, the associate will be removed from the work schedule.
Perform any reasonable tasks assigned by a supervisor or manager.
Report any maintenance problems throughout the spa to the proper authority.
Stay current and educated with new treatments and products in the Spa industry.
Promote self as well as other Spa, Hotel and Club affiliates and services.
Must maintain client and spa business confidentiality/privacy at all times.
Must agree and adhere to compensation acknowledgment and tip reporting guidelines.

JOB SUMMARY

Provide knowledgeable and thorough massage therapy and body treatment services, while demonstrating professionalism, respect, and sensitivity to guest needs.
Provide guest consultation and personalized recommendations, based on guest's needs, as well as sell and upsell retail products and enhancement treatments.
Responsible for fostering client relationships to enhance satisfaction, ensure repeat business, and support client retention initiatives.
Setup and break down of designated treatment area with the highest respect of fellow co-workers by maintaining neat and well-stocked work areas.
Comply with and maintain safety, sanitation, and disinfection standards, properly clean and sanitize products, rooms, tools and equipment, following TRILOGY and State Governing Boards requirements and guidelines.
Provide guests with a tour of the spa facility, as needed.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Must have a current AZMassage Therapy License.
Must have at least 1-3 years' experience in a MassageTherapist position, preferably in a luxury hotel/resort environment.
Knowledge of Massage Theory, Anatomy, and Physiology.

Current or pending PTA license
Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program
CPR certified
