Accepting Applications for Academic Year, Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 This part-time, non-benefitted position is responsible for providing compassionate care and husbandry to the cats and dogs of Massasoit's Veterinary Technology program. The Kennel Attendant will work closely with the Veterinary Technology Laboratory Technician, the Veterinary Technology Program Coordinator, faculty, and staff to ensure the proper health and welfare of the program animals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Walking dogs according to safety protocols and picking up after them.
* Feeding and providing fresh water to dogs and cats.
* Washing dishes and bowls.
* Cleaning litter boxes.
* Washing & disinfecting kennels and cages.
* Changing bedding.
* Washing, drying, & folding bedding.
* Monitoring the health and comfort of the animals and reporting any health concerns to appropriate personnel.
* Bathing animals as needed.
* General cleaning and upkeep of animal housing, food prep, and laundry areas.
* Providing dogs and cats with socialization and enrichment.
* Neat & accurate documentation in paper and electronic records.

Primary Objective: Adjunct Non-Credit Certified Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aide (CNA/HHA) instructors are hired as part time instructors to provide instruction for CNA/HHA courses on an as needed basis and based upon sufficient course enrollment. The CNA/HHA instructor is responsible for preparing and delivering didactic and laboratory education that meets the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH), Division of Health Care Quality guidelines for CNA/HHA certification standards. They develop and deliver course content using high quality pedagogical techniques to ensure maximum student success and learning. They also work with the Continuing Education Division team to ensure compliance with all regulatory and college administrative policies and practices.
Essential Functions:
The duties of the Adjunct Non-Credit CNA/HHA instructor include, but are not limited to:
* Provide CNA/HHA curriculum development and instruction following the DPH Division of Health Care Quality guidelines for CNA/HHA training.
* Provide the coordination and supervision of CNA/HHA students at their assigned clinical sites.
* Prepare and maintain all CNA/HHA program materials for and participate in periodic Commonwealth on-site program reviews to maintain DPH certification.
* Provide real-world clinical scenarios and facilitate practice of critical CNA/HHA skills.
* Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment in classroom and clinical lab settings following best practices and industry standards.
* Clearly communicate the importance of HIPAA compliance to students, integrating legal, ethical, and professional responsibilities into classroom and lab instruction.
* Assess student progress and support development of academic and professional skills.
* Assist students with setting academic and professional goals.
* Monitor email communications from students and the college and respond in a timely manner, as appropriate.
* Ensure that classes meet for the allotted time on every scheduled meeting day during the semester.
* Provide timely and consistent feedback to students.
* Maintain accurate student records of attendance, participation, and grades.
* Meet all deadlines for grade submission to the Registrar's Office, student participation reports, and/or other administrative documentation as required.
* Works collaboratively with Division staff.
* Focus on the Commonwealth's Equity Agenda by applying related best practices throughout all job functions.
* Participate in required Human Resources and Information Technology Services trainings, new instructor orientations, and periodic check-in meetings with Division staff.
Requirements:
Skills/Experience/Training:
* Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
* Registered Nurse (RN) with a current Massachusetts RN license
* At least two (2) years of work experience as an RN
* At least one (1) year of experience providing long-term care services
* At least one year (1) of experience in lesson planning, lesson delivery, student evaluation and remediation in a health care setting
* Must have completed a course in teaching adults OR have experience in teaching adults or supervising nurse aides.
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Communication skills that demonstrate sensitivity to adult learners, non-native English speakers, and diversely prepared students
* Experience with post-secondary leaning programs
* Demonstrated teaching and educational facilitation skills
* Knowledge of competency-based education principles and methods
* Ability to assess student performance and progress and to provide appropriate feedback
* Ability to foster critical thinking and problem-solving among students
* Familiarity with learning management systems and other remote learning technology
* Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching style and materials to meet the individual needs of students
* Proven technological proficiency, which may include Microsoft Office 365 applications
Preferred Qualifications:
* Complete a CNA instructor training program that covers state regulations, teaching methods, and curriculum development
* Experience integrating technology into teaching, including online and blended learning
* Multilingual fluency in Spanish, French, Portuguese, French Creole, or Cape Verdean Creole
* Demonstrated understanding of the community college mission and role with a focus on promoting diversity, equity and inclusion
* Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Additional Information:
Semester: Beginning February 2026 for the Spring semester and the Summer 2026 semester
Position Status: Part-time, non-benefitted. Adjunct instructors are hired on an as needed basis each semester.

General Statement of Duties
Assist in the Mt Fitness Programs/ Clinics as Program Director, Clinic Director, Assistant Director, Counselor, Coach, and Staff.
Responsibilities
All staff will have the responsibility of providing a safe and supportive environment for each participant to play, grow, and learn the fundamentals of the respective program/clinic. All staff must have pride in being a good example in appearance, conduct, language and sportsmanship, and be able to teach the participants the importance of these standards.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
* Must meet the regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Health for program/clinic staff;
* Must pass CORI/SORI background checks before working with the participants.

General Statement of Duties
The Dental Clinical Lab Assistant will provide support to dental hygiene/assisting students in specific dental laboratory coursework when necessary.
Responsibilities
* Communicate with primary faculty to determine exact content and objectives to be fulfilled during session;
* Mentor and/or model student processional, ethical and competent dental hygiene practice;
* Provide one on one support on specific dental clinical coursework and or skills as indicated;
* Communicates with Program Director regarding any questions, concerns about sessions.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
* Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing and licensed in the state of Massachusetts;
* At least 3 years experience in a dental clinical position/setting;
* Evidence of competence in the area of instruction;
* Expertise appropriate to position responsibilities;
Desired Qualifications:
* 3-5 years teaching experience in a community college
