Located in Greater Boston, MassBay is a comprehensive, open-access community college, offering associate degrees and certificate programs on three campuses in Wellesley Hills, Framingham, and Ashland, Massachusetts.
Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will join a vibrant educational community and have a desire and ability to serve a population of students with various needs and backgrounds.
The candidate is expected to commit to excellence in teaching and learning, collaboration and professional development. Adjunct faculty are expected to deliver course materials in a learner-centered environment conductive to engaging students in the learning process. The faculty member in this position communicates consistently and effectively with students, faculty and administrators, and responds to communications within a 24 hour period. The faculty is responsible for managing this course through timely grading of assignments, providing substantial student feedback with assignments, and submission of clinical evaluations, attendance and grades.
MassBay Community College seeks qualified part-time instructors in Nursing. The instructor must have clinical experience, communicate effectively, assess students objectively, and work as part of a team. Instructor responsibilities include supervising Practical Nursing and/or Associate Degree Nursing students in the clinical setting; guidance in completing assignments such as daily clinical worksheets, concept maps, and care plans; and conducting student evaluations.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
* Demonstrated knowledge of subject matter and an awareness of new developments in the field;
* Integrate theory content into the student(s) clinical assignment;
* Communicate with course faculty regularly to track student progress or to develop performance improvement plans to support student learning;
* Responsible for conducting clinical evaluations;
* Assign, supervise, plan experiences, and evaluate students in practice learning environments based on course and program student learning outcomes;
* Provides support, guidance, and instruction on all aspects of patient care while at the clinical facility or laboratory classroom;
* Demonstrate procedures and patient care in clinical or laboratory nursing settings;
* Provide feedback to the assistant dean of nursing, program director, and clinical placement coordinator on the appropriateness of the health care agency in terms of teaching/learning environments for students;
* Provide feedback on student achievement of student learning outcomes;
* Attend orientation on campus;
* Participate in clinical faculty mentoring as identified by the Assistant Dean of Nursing and course faculty;
* Participate in the Programs' continuous improvement efforts, which include BORN and ACEN requirements;
* Maintain appropriate paperwork and documentation required by the programs.

Minimum Qualifications:
* Current unencumbered Massachusetts RN license;
* Recent clinical practice in relevant areas: All areas of nursing are encouraged to apply;
* Must meet one of the following requirements:
* MSN with a minimum of 2 years nursing experience; or
* BSN with 2 years of nursing experience and matriculated in an MSN program with expected graduation within 5 years; or
* BSN and a minimum of five years of full-time experience in nursing, or its equivalent and evidence of clinical competence in the area(s) of clinical instruction;
* Excellent written and oral communication skills;
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a diverse faculty, staff, and student body;
* Clinical teaching experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Sensitivity and commitment to the goals of Affirmative Action;
* Experience working in a community college or similar environment;
* Demonstrates commitment to working with students in need.

Current negative PPD and hepatitis vaccine.

Job Description:
Berkshire Community College invites applicants with a demonstrated commitment to student-centered, outcomes-based education to apply for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Early Childhood Education. Faculty typically teach 15 credit hours per semester. Duties include the development and preparation of course and assessment materials, including on-line instruction; classroom (day and/or evening assignments) and field work instruction; assisting with student recruitment; participating in college service, professional development, and student advisement activities. The Nursing Adjunct Lecturer reports to the Associate Dean, Pre-Licensure Nursing and Dean, School of Nursing. The faculty member plans, organizes and teaches the pre-licensure curricula then provides timely assessment throughout the semester and outcomes at the end of each semester. The faculty will follow course content, provide students with timely feedback, improve student learning outcomes and participate in the systematic plans of evaluations. There are four possible classes to teach within the Associate of Science in Nursing program:
NU 101: Foundations of Nursing Practice: The focus of the first nursing course is health promotion, restoration, and maintenance.
NU 102: Adult Nursing Practice: The second nursing course emphasizes the knowledge and skills essential for the nursing management of adult medical and surgical individuals as they adapt to changes in the health/illness spectrum.
NU 201: Family-Focused Nursing Practice: The third nursing course focuses on the knowledge, skills, attitudes/values, and abilities required to provide safe, quality, and patient-centered care to women, children, and their families in order for them to flourish.
NU 202: Comprehensive Nursing Practice: The last nursing course focuses on the knowledge, skills, attitudes/values, and abilities required to provide safe, quality, patient-centered care to adult individuals with complex stressors, assisting those individuals and families to flourish and adapt.

The Department of Health and Fitness Studies at Regis College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for the Spring 2026 semester for a physical activity course entitled,
Intermediate Strength Training.
This is one of the physical activity class offerings designed to increase student knowledge of the importance of being physically active for lifetime wellness and to provide them with skills to engage in various activities. This course provides instruction and practice in performing intermediate level strength training safely and effectively. Students also gain increased knowledge of the muscular system, strength training principles, and safety in the weight room. The course is a requirement for Exercise Science majors but is open to all students at the university.
It is a 15-week course that begins on January 20th and runs through the spring semester. The course is taught in person on the Weston campus twice a week for 50 minutes per session.
The course outline is available for the instructor. The course is currently scheduled Monday & Wednesday at 9:00-9:50 am.
Responsibilities Include:
Teach PE 203N Intermediate Strength Training, an in-person physical activity course
Engage with all responsibilities associated with teaching: content preparation, grading, office hours, student engagement, academic assessment, etc.
Meet with program director periodically to discuss content, student progress, challenges, etc.
Qualifications
Qualified Candidates Must Possess:
A Bachelor's degree or higher in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Physical Education, or a related field
Past strength coaching experience; NSCA - CSCS certification preferred
Evidence of prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level preferred

Ability to collaborate with other faculty
