Plans installations and repairs by studying blueprints and work sketches to determine material requirements along with cost of supplies and man-hours of labor.
Troubleshooting, repair, inspection and recording of facilities equipment including but not limited to heating water systems, steam systems, fresh water systems, drainage systems, medical gas systems, compressed air systems and sewer systems.
All repairs and maintenance of devices, machinery and mechanical equipment will be in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's specifications and required state and federal guidelines.
Will use various hand tools including but not limited to drill, drill press, hand grinder, impact, core drill, multi meter, saws all, port-a-band, pipe threading equipment both hand and powered, inspection cameras, infrared cameras, plumbing snakes.
Computers will be used but not limited to researching equipment, parts ordering, project pricing, engineering work orders, e-mails and viewing blueprints.
Other work or duties may be assigned by the Engineering Director or Supervisor. Grounds work could be added. Snow and ice removal will be done by every member of the Engineering department.
Will act as security by following guidelines outlined in NARMC policies and procedures.
