Overview
Mastercard Developers is the single entry point for Mastercard partners to access a diverse range of payment, data, loyalty, and security APIs. Our team is responsible for delivering an experience that ensures developers can quickly find the right API, assess its technical capabilities, and integrate it into new and innovative solutions. Role
• Lead end-to-end productdevelopment and delivery lifecycle through collaboration with an international cross functional team including engineering, QA, UX and infrastructure teams.

• Drive innovation in API and AI development, ensuring products meet security, compliance, and performance standards.
• Champion Agile practices and project management excellence, providing leadership to Scrum Masters and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Translate customer requirements into impactful, scalable platform features that deliver measurable value.
• Serve as product ambassador articulating the strategy, roadmap, and value proposition with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to a multi-year roadmap, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to set priorities.
• Define, track and own key performance indicators for the API program.
• Provide regular updates to senior and executive management on high-visibility initiatives.

• Proven experience in product leadership, including roadmap ownership, prioritization, and go-to-market planning.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, with a strong ability to translate business needs into actionable product requirements.
• Expertise in AI strategy and development, with a strong understanding of how AI can enhance product capabilities and customer experience.
• Strong project management skills and deep knowledge of Agile methodologies, with experience leading Scrum Masters and driving team alignment
• Background in the B2B, API, or payments/financial services; experience building products for a technical audience is highly preferred.
• Technical foundation through a Computer Science/Engineering degree or professional programming background.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively with global teams and stakeholders.

The Role
- Conduct market outside-in and enterprise inside-out analysis to identify GTM priorities across regions and verticals.
- Identify and prioritize high-impact use cases across Mastercard enterprise and align them with targeted distribution channels to launch focused, scalable solutions.
- Develop differentiated commercial value propositions, pricing models, and packaging strategies tailored to enterprise use cases and developer needs.

Membership Portfolio Services, within our US Consumer Services Business, is responsible for developing and scaling several growing businesses that are strategically important to American Express. How will you make an impact in this role?
The Senior Manager, Amex Ads Product role sits within the Digital Advertising team and reports to the Director, Amex Ads Product. This individual will support the growth of Amex's digital advertising network, which is focused on introducing new channels for advertisers to engage Amex's customers across our digital platforms (e.g., Amex Travel, Resy, Amex App).
This individual will own the product roadmap of several digital capabilities and offerings (e.g., ad serving, order management, ad placements/formats) that will power Amex's new suite of advertising products. This individual will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of these new capabilities, in partnership with a team of engineering resources. As necessary, this individual will lead assessments of external tech solutions to fill internal capability gaps. Finally, this individual will be responsible for establishing robust compliance / risk guardrails.
Key Responsibilities
Own the product roadmap for Amex's new advertising systems (e.g., ad serving, order management, self-service), to support rapid growth for the business, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities of the Digital Advertising team.
Identify, design, and launch new advertising placements and formats, including display, native, sponsored search, and email.
Lead the development and deployment of these new ad capabilities, collaborating across numerous platforms (e.g., Amex Travel, Resy, Amex App) and functional teams (e.g., product, technology, marketing, control management, legal).
Translate business requirements into actionable tech specifications (e.g., features, user stories) for engineering teams.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
