Vice President, Total Rewards
Overview
The Total Rewards team is responsible for delivering world-class programs that position the company as an employer of choice. This global team designs and delivers compensation, benefits, and mobility programs for employees and leads human resources M&A activities. The position will lead compensation consultative support and Total Rewards projects and initiatives for designated business units.
Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary consultant to designated business units on all compensation-related items, ensuring market-competitive pay and internal alignment with Mastercard's philosophies.
* Partner with HR leaders and Business Partners to provide guidance on all components of compensation, including job evaluation, executive offers, and year-end allocations of base, bonus, and LTI.
* Develop relationships and establish credibility with business unit executives, HR Business Partners, and key stakeholders across the company.
* Consult with management on pay program levers, including job structures, to ensure compensation design aligns with organizational design.
* Stay abreast of best practices and make recommendations to design teams based on market practice and intelligence.
* Direct compensation due diligence, cost analysis, retention strategies, and other assessments in support of M&A transactions.
* Ensure the effectiveness of programs and services to the business, gather real-time intelligence from the business, and relay this back to internal stakeholders.
* Focus exclusively on consulting with business units and liaising with other parts of Total Rewards to execute programs.
* Collaborate on special projects with rewards design and delivery teams as needed.
* Ensure the successful delivery of Rewards programs globally, operational excellence, and an optimal employee experience.

This position is integral to a Mastercard strategic initiative and will report to the Senior Managing Counsel, Regulatory. The ideal candidate is a compliance champion and proven leader with deep experience in building and supporting compliance management programs and a background in payments and financial technology.
Role
The Director, Regulatory Compliance will lead a team charged with executing the regulatory compliance strategy for our account-to-account cross-border activity in the Americas to ensure compliance with money transmission and other payment services regulations.
The role will be responsible for developing and implementing enhancements to the global regulatory compliance program, and will require strong leadership, collaboration and execution to ensure regulatory compliance across the business.
Key activities include:
• Lead the development and execution of global regulatory strategy for cross-border account-to-account business
• Manage global team of regulatory compliance professionals to meet local regulatory compliance requirements
• Oversee quality assurance and testing process for regulatory compliance functions
• Design and implement parameters for key risk indicators for escalation to senior management
• Partner closely with AML Compliance, Finance, and other business units to meet regulatory compliance obligations
• Manage ongoing supervision and examinations
• Enhance and maintain regulatory compliance risk assessments
• Maintain strong industry knowledge of regulations, changes, trends and impacts to the business
All About You
• Proven experience developing and managing regulatory compliance programs for large bank or non-bank financial institution
• Proven success in navigating a multi-national organization and operating effectively within a diverse multicultural organization
• Knowledge of US, Canada, and Mexico payment services regulations and license requirements is preferred, including US state money transmission laws and regulations issued by FinCEN, FINTRAC, CNBV
• Self-starter / motivated to work independently and as an effective team member

The U.S. Consumer Services and Enterprise Digital & Data Technology Team (USCDT) brings together foundational strategic technology capabilities in digital experience engineering (Mobile and Web), AI/ML, marketing technology (Adobe), enterprise communications, travel and lifestyle, and automation. The Marketing Transformation team is part of USCDT, employs a ground-breaking focus with development responsibilities for customer & marketer facing capabilities that deepen and expand digital engagement, as well as core technical capabilities that cut across business lines and customer segments. The Marketing Transformation team leads the technology strategy and engineering delivery of marketing activities, campaigns, and management of marketing assets.
This position works closely with the Product and Business teams to craft, develop and support critical components and platforms for majority of Marketing products and services, that drive current and prospective customer acquisition and loyalty via multitude of channels. We are looking for a dynamic, innovative, action-and-results oriented leader to lead this fast-evolving eco system.
The ideal candidate is required to be accomplished in the development and deployment of complex software solutions using Adobe's Workfront, AEM and AEP platform. The candidate should be able to come up with innovative solutions, have a pragmatic approach to application architecture, and be excited to work on a varied tech stack. You will be expected to have a deep understanding of the Adobe platforms & connectivity with Enterprise systems. You are required to have a futuristic mindset, ability to question status quo and technologically advance the platforms.

Job Responsibilities:
* Bring a strong technical foundation; able to engage the team on coding practices, architecture, design, get under the hood of complex
* Collaborate successfully with product owners, designers, and a broad set of internal Technical partners (across multiple internal groups)
* Ensure product releases are high quality, deliver excellent user experiences, perform seamlessly at scale, and align with regulatory requirements.
* Partner with peers in technologies to find opportunities for code sharing, common services, joint development, etc.
* Keep up with the latest industry research and emerging technologies to ensure we are appropriately demonstrating new techniques and capabilities.
* Demonstrate accountability while leading people with passion, enthusiasm, loyalty and integrity. Own and lead HR processes such as performance reviews, talent development, etc.

Qualifications
* Extensive background in Software Product Engineering and Computer Science
* 10 years of demonstrable experience building and deploying large scale products on SaaS platforms (Adobe)
* Strong Experience in Agile development, code review, Workfront, AEM Assets & AEM Sites (Cloud), AEP Platform (AJO), Python, Google Big Query, Rest API, CSS, HTML, Java, Javascript, React, Spring framework, Redis, Relational database, Cloud computing, UNIX and Web Services.
* Moderate or higher skill in SOA, Restful, Asynchronous and Microservices technologies for large scale environments.
* Strong understanding and experienced in CICD and DevOps
* In depth knowledge of Customer Marketing technology ecosystem and related programs is preferred
* Knowledge of American Express Marketing & Data platforms a plus
* The ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical individuals
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills required, with ability to create and deliver effective presentations to executive leadership and technical architects across the organization is a plus.
* Hands on experience with technology planning and road mapping
* Proven track record to lead problem analysis and resolution
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information

Salary Range: $144,250.00 to $256,250.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
