Responsibilities:
Sells parts to all customers, over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone.
Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials, and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
Pulls and fills orders from stock. Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention. Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submit an emergency order, if necessary.
Notifies service advisor and the customer when special ordered parts have been received. Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
Ensures that all charge sales are signed by the customer. Ensures that all customers receive their copy of the invoice.
Issues credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified.

Scan service repair order, parts invoices, deals and any other documents as assigned.
Filing of all deal folders, cash receipts, and any other documents as assigned.
Post warranty statements.
Post monthly factory receivables.

Assist department managers with retrieving miscellaneous paperwork; forms, deals, titles, etc
Process and track all warranty cancellations and collections.

As an Automotive Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for assisting customers and internal staff with orders and the selection of parts. You'll provide price quotes and accept payments. You will rely on providing outstanding customer service, true to our brand at Ron Bouchard's Auto Stores.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Assists customers and internal staff with orders and selection of required or recommended parts, provides price quotes and receives payment/credit authorizations
Reviews body shop estimates and orders and ensures parts are available, ordering parts and scheduling shipment, deliveries and pick up
Ensures pricing quotes, repair orders, invoices, and insurance estimates are filed and organized
Checks associated orders from stock ordering and/or locating out of stock parts from outside sources, submits emergency orders as appropriate
Collaborates with service advisor, customers and body shop when parts are received and/or when they may be delivered
Verifies all orders are appropriately identified with customers name(s) and job number(s) when received and follows up on back-ordered parts
Replenishes assigned inventory daily, verifies will-call and back orders and issues/tracks requested shop tools to technicians
Job Qualification Recommendations:
Previous customer service experience a plus but not required
Knowledge and adherence to safeguarding PI is required at all times
Valid unrestricted driver's license and satisfactory driving record huge plus
