Roll Forming Operator We are searching for talented Roll Forming Operator to join us! We teach you to become a skilled Roll Forming Operator Set up, operate, and adjust roll forming machines according to production requirements and blueprints Operate Yoder roll forming machine Operate hydraulic cut-off machines Clean machines, check coils for feed and cut-off Assist with coil change covers Load raw material into equipment and ensure proper alignment Monitor machine operation to ensure continuous production and identify potential issues Perform routine quality checks using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges Perform basic preventative maintenance and keep equipment and work area clean and organized We offer: $21.50 hourly start rate, annual bonus potential and Company stock issued at no cost as an ESOP employer Premium 10-hour shift: Monday through Thursday 5:30am to 4pm Friday 5:30am to 2pm Individual training plan with emphasis on cross-training for growth and career pathway Reimbursement for fitness centers & equipment, athletic shoes, runners/cycle club, weight loss program & more Opportunities to give back & get involved Paid vacation and holidays 60 hours of PTO per year Health Care options/401k/Employee Stock Ownership Requirements: Hands-on mechanical knowledge High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required Able to read and interpret documents i.e. safety rules, work instructions, prints, and control plans. Ability to use various measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, and other hand tools. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to lift 50 pounds infrequently. Ability to perform excessive walking, standing, bending, climbing, reaching, grasping, and lifting. Ability to run machines and equipment safely and efficiently. The position is occasionally exposed to fumes, coolants and will work near moving mechanical parts. What you'll be doing: * Bundle, package, and roll articles in accordance with company requirements * Handle flat good orders and select appropriate items * Select appropriate items by style, color, etc. * Inspect products for tears, holes, stains, excessive moisture, etc. * Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines. * Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management Qualifications What we're looking for: * High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred * Must be at least 18 years of age or older to operate mat roller and any machinery * Must be at least 16 years of age or older to work in the load building area * Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift * Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management * Ability to lift up to 15-30 lbs * Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units of weight measurement, volume, and distance The estimated hourly pay for this position ranges from $11.65 - $15.50 per hour. Actual compensation will vary based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
