The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Follow facility-specific guidelines. Other duties may be assigned. Operational Responsibilities 1. Removes orders from incoming delivery trucks, reviews purchase orders for accuracy, documents dates on PO's and integrates stock in accordance with company rotation & sanitation procedures. 2. Reviews received items for quality and product expiration dates, notifies supervisor of any discrepancies. Seeks clarification and advice from supervisor when unsure of product condition or quality. 3. Examines and inspects stock for defects, reporting any damage to supervisors. Follows all handling and reporting procedures for Allergens. 4. Prepare for new stock deliveries, cleans and organizes area in compliance with company procedures. 5. Ensure cooler and product temperatures are correct, records twice daily and immediately notify supervisor of any discrepancies. 6. Pulls products, builds pallets and wraps up items for delivery. Handles products with proper care. 7. Accurately complete and deliver zone sheet for assigned area to Supervisor. 8. Assists with customer walk-ins, retrieves orders and loads purchases for customers in a professional and respectful manner. 9. Use safe lifting, pushing, pulling & climbing skills at all times. Always wear non-slip protected toe shoes when in the warehouse. Only operate equipment you are trained and certified to operate. 10. Follow RF Scanners properly. 11. Uses, cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with company sanitation and safety regulations. 12. Participate in maintaining a safe work environment. Immediately notify supervisor/manager of unsafe conditions. Qualifications JOB QUALIFICATIONS Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening (including testing for marijuana). Ability to work in a refrigerated warehouse environment. Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Proficient in English (spoken and written) to follow instructions and safety policies. No translation assistance provided-English proficiency is required. Experience operating Tow Motors and/or stand up forklifts required. Knowledge of RF Scanners is a plus. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work early mornings with a strong sense of punctuality and responsibility.
