WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE
The Lift Truck Operator (LTO) operates stand-up equipment to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, move, or place in racks, products/materials in the cold storage. The ideal candidate will move materials in the warehouse, CPG, Natural Ingredients, and load/ unload truck trailers or shipping containers.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
* Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times, such as working collaboratively, providing timely communication and instruction and assisting with operations as necessary.
* Execute various manual labor functions such as picking inventory, counting cargo, product and material and hand staging and loading goods; use manual equipment such as hand truck or pallet jack.
* Coordinate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, tools, equipment, and products within assigned area. Prepare and assemble orders, move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
* Manage sorting and placement of materials or items on racks, shelves, pallets or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, product code and related characteristics; tend to be more routine or typical.
* Opportunity to operate a forklift once certified and required.
* Complete or verify appropriate forms, documents, labels and other information to ensure the accuracy of inventory, monitor and track material and successful receiving and/or delivery of goods; tends to be basic information or standard in nature.
* Operate hand tools to close or open bales, build or tear down crates, and other containers or material; tends to be more predictable packaging.
* Assist with identifying potential operational or service concerns, notify appropriate co-workers and assist with resolving.
* Monitor various warehouse maintenance tasks, including sweeping floors, cleaning docks, staging, packing, racking and related storage areas, proper storing equipment, basic preventative maintenance, and related tasks.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and committed shuttle driver/art handler to join our organizations and support the safe and efficient movement of valuable and fragile commodities. This full-time role is essential to facilitating interoffice transfers of artworks and objects, with monthly long-distance hauls between our Massachusetts, New York, and California offices, galleries, and warehouses.
