About the Role
How you will contribute
* Work is performed in a traditional warehousing type environment and picking parts according to customer order and placing parts in work areas.
* Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped.
* Moves items from bulk containers or racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
* Assist in the counting and accurate tracking of materials or items received or distributed. May also assist with the physical counting of inventory.
* Able to work required scheduled deemed necessary to meet the production goals and Key Performance Indicators of the site. Schedule may fluctuate based on the needs of the business.
* Other duties as assigned.

The Material Handler assists in the day to day operations of receiving, shipping and inventory data entry for Dean/Fluor and government procured materials and equipment. The material handler will work under direct supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor.
Responsibilities
This position will support a government warehouse located in Bluffdale, UT. The Material Handler is responsible for utilizing knowledge of Operations, Maintenance, and Repair industry tools and materials to perform logistics tasks such as receiving, inventorying, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items from the Dean/Fluor warehouse and from suppliers. The Material Handler has a solid understanding of the Dean/Fluor Logistics processes and procedures, implements attention to detail in following logistics procedures and record-keeping, inventories and places incoming orders on shelves, picks materials for internal distribution and use, monitors inventory and communicates shortages, and provides feedback for process improvement.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and proven experience as Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or similar position with one (1) to three (3) years of experience in logistics field.
Warehouse Material Handlers must successfully complete all safety training courses as provided by the Company.
Some physical strength is required since you may often need to lift packages by hand. Must be able to lift 50Lbs.
Stand or sit for long periods of time, in addition to delivering materials or tools to site locations to meet customer requirements as needed.
Check incoming deliveries to make sure all ordered material meets quality standards, and perform accurate inventory and recording of ordered items.
Pass a USG federal background investigation and drug test.? The selected individual will have to pass an extensive US government / federal government background check with no felony convictions, and become eligible to achieve and maintain a security clearance
Valid driver's license, clean record, and ability to pass Dean/Fluor driving authorization requirements.
Controlling operations of a forklift and pallet jack.? Prior experience with safe forklift operations a plus.
Basic computer skills. (Word, Excel, CMMS, Etc.)
Must be a well-organized and detail-oriented person in order to maintain warehouse and material in a clean and organized manner.??
Strong communication skills are a must.

Position Overview
The Tunnel Preparation Associate handles and inspects soft shades before and after processing through the Tunnel Machine. This role ensures fabrics meet quality standards and supports smooth, safe production, directly contributing to the department's goals.
What you'll do
* Receive soft shades from Flat Prep and verify fabric type and lining.
* Measure width and length of shades according to work tickets.
* Check pattern match and inspect for puckering or looseness.
* Remove staples and pins as needed.
* Prepare shades for and inspect them after processing through the Tunnel Machine.
* Use hand tools and equipment safely, maintaining an organized work area.
* Follow written and verbal instructions to meet production and quality standards.
* Report any unsafe conditions, accidents, or quality issues to supervisors.

Position Overview
Flat Prep 1 presses, marks and pins fabric for soft shades. Employees are responsible for individual compliance with all safety rules, regulations and policy procedures.
What you'll do
* Receive pre-cut fabric for soft shades, including face fabric and lining.
* Fold both sides of face fabric and lining to 1 ½ inches and press with an iron.
* Fold the bottom of face fabric and lining to 2 inches and press with an iron.
* Mark and pin fabric and lining every 6 inches on each side.
* Close off the bottom of face fabric and lining with double-sided tape.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
* Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) properly and report any defective PPE.
* Report all near misses, accidents, injuries, or illnesses, including musculoskeletal symptoms or disorders.
* Be aware of work tickets with pins on shades; ensure all tickets are pinned correctly to avoid injury.
* Be cautious of platforms in the department to avoid tripping or stepping on them.

* Moving about workstation to accomplish tasks
* Standing up to seven hours or more per shift
* Must be able to complete activities that may require lifting or carrying
* Frequently operates hand tools
* Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
