GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Packaging Material Handler is responsible for working on the production floor to assist with bringing product to and from the warehouse and to handle materials (cardboard, plastic barrels, and bag film) related to food production.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Reads production schedule to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
* Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
* Requires visual verification of items, physical movement of the product from production into the warehouse area.
* If applicable, operates/drives material handling equipment to transport stored items within the packaging room/facility.
* Responsible for removal and waste tracking in the packaging department.
* Inspects product load for accuracy, and safely moves it around the packaging floor or other parts of the facility as needed to ensure timely and complete delivery.
* Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage area or to other designated areas using a manual pallet jack.
* Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, and boxes, and secure material or products for transport to designated areas.
* Opens bales, crates, and other containers. Removes excess cardboard and straps to be disposed of properly.
* Moves portable equipment to packaging floor from storage area and sets up per requirements while maintaining safety standards.
* Manually or mechanically loads and unloads materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.
* Operates or tends automatic stacking, loading, packaging, or cutting machines.
* Maintains general housekeeping duties, sweeps floors, retrieves pallets, and distributes to proper locations; performs light maintenance. Ensure all recyclables are placed in designated bins and are 5S compliant.
* Practices and adheres to appropriate safety procedures, including but not limited to, wearing all needed PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when required.
* Marks materials with identifying information.
* Performs other job-related projects, duties and assignments as directed by supervision, including packing.
* Other duties that may be performed by the Packaging Material Handler are, but not limited to safe housekeeping, keeping work areas clean; storing supplies in designated areas; keeping aisles/exits clear and free from obstructions; removing trash from work area floor; following instructions for safe lifting/carrying of various sizes, shapes, and weights. Practices and adheres to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines/procedures.
* Mandatory overtime may be required.

Position Overview
We are hiring Seasonal Warehouse Workers to support order fulfillment during our peak season. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced print production environment. Warehouse workers will help ensure customer orders are packed, shipped, and delivered on time.
Responsibilities
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
Receive and organize incoming materials
Stock shelves, move inventory, and maintain an organized work area
Safely operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment (training provided)
Assist in general warehouse duties as assigned
Follow all safety, quality, and company policies
Shift is 2pm-1000pm Sunday to Saturday (7 days)

The Logistics/Material Coordinator performs day-to-day execution of material handling, receiving, inventory management, shipping, and storage operations. The position requires a high school diploma and at least five years of experience supporting logistics or warehouse functions on projects of comparable complexity. This role ensures the accuracy, organization, and physical movement of materials while adhering to safety guidelines and warehouse procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities
Perform receiving, inspection, labeling, and documentation of incoming materials.
Execute inventory transactions, stock rotations, and bin-level updates in warehouse management systems.
Prepare materials for shipment, including packaging, staging, and preparing required documentation.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with storage standards.
Operate MHE and forklifts safely and effectively to move materials as required.
Conduct routine cycle counts and support full inventory audits.
Identify and report material discrepancies, damage, or storage hazards.
Assist in distribution activities, delivery scheduling, and staging for Government pickup.
Safeguard materials and ensure proper storage conditions based on technical specifications.
Requirements
Required KSAs
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling techniques, and safety procedures.
Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other MHE.
Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and basic data entry skills.
Physical ability to lift, move, and transport materials as required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Ability to work independently while supporting team objectives.
Minimum five (5) years of industry experience in logistics/warehouse management of at least one (1) project of similar complexity of work stated in the PWS
