The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for performing physical and clerical tasks associated with shipment and reception of supplies and finished products. Key responsibilities : · Maintain accurate records of all inventory items, including quantities, locations, and condition. · Conduct regular physical inventory counts ad reconcile discrepancies with recorded data. · Update inventory databases and systems to reflect changes in stock levels. · Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure that stock is available to meet demand without overstocking. · Coordinate with Purchasing, Production and other departments to ensure timely replenishment of inventory items. · Prepare ad generate inventory reports for management review. · Identify and report any issues related to inventory management, such as shortages, overstock, or damaged goods. · Assist with the organization and arrangement of stock in the warehouse or storage area. · Implement and follow inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency. · Support the implementation of inventory management systems and software. Required Qualifications : · High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred. · Previous experience in inventory management, warehousing, or related role is preferred. · Strong attention to detail and organization skills. · Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft office suite. · Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving inventory items. · Strong communication and teamwork skills. · Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. · Knowledge of inventory control procedures and best practices. · Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds. · Ability to stand, walk and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
