Refills shelves and racks from overstock, as needed. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a cooperative manner with customers, co-workers and managers. Utilize an RF scanner for daily tasks Qualifications Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify. High school diploma/GED or equivalent education required. Two or Four-Year college degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration is preferred. Warehouse, plumbing, retail/customer service and forklift experience is also desirable, but not required. Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency. Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data. Hands-on commitment to getting the job done. Ability to recognize and read location, date, and product codes. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic knowledge and proper use of the English language, including reading, writing, and oral communications. DUTIES INCLUDE Active participation in East Bay Tire's Safety program to maintain a healthy and injury free environment Participate in training and company meetings to facilitate individual and company growth Drives commercial truck to deliver tires to customers as well as other East Bay Tire locations Performs initial vehicle inspection at the beginning of each shift Unloads different types and sizes of tires at delivery site Collects money from customers on COD accounts Records delivery information on pick tickets Inform regular customers of new tires available when questioned Listens to and resolves service complaints Collects or picks up rejected tires or unsold merchandise Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery Responsible for routine vehicle presentation/cleanliness Work on special projects and perform other tasks as needed Adherence to company and safety policies and procedures REQUIREMENTS Must have at least 2 years' experience working as a commercial or warehouse driver Experience working in a warehouse as a technician or driver preferred Experience delivering parts or products to customers Experience working in the tire industry preferred but not required Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.
