About the Role
How you will contribute
* Work is performed in a traditional warehousing type environment and picking parts according to customer order and placing parts in work areas.
* Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped.
* Moves items from bulk containers or racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
* Assist in the counting and accurate tracking of materials or items received or distributed. May also assist with the physical counting of inventory.
* Able to work required scheduled deemed necessary to meet the production goals and Key Performance Indicators of the site. Schedule may fluctuate based on the needs of the business.

The forklift operator should get the drop or replenishment sheets from the warehouse/shipping office before making any replenishment.
All pallets put in to a picking location should have all wrap removed by the forklift operator when it is replenished.
Forklift operators are required to fill out a damage sheet each shift to account for any damage that occurs in their aisles during the shift, and turn it in to supervision at shift end.

What You Will Do
Work within Essity safety standards with a responsibility for others too
Load and unload and check (raw) material or Finish Goods visually for damage, quantity and description
Block damaged raw material or material deviating in quantity or description
Prepare supply RM/FG for production lines
Remove production waste and return blocked (raw) material and blocked FG products
Cycle count RM/FG stock based on demanded intervals and quantities
Store and allocate (raw) material, return, blocking, waste, FG products, recycled material with the right location code
Complete all required documentation and data files during unload, store, remove and cycle count
Own and maintain forklift truck and other logistic handling equipment
Maintain optimal housekeeping in warehouse

Job Summary:
The Forklift/Machine Operator is responsible for safely operating powered industrial equipment (sit-down/stand-up forklifts, loaders) to move heavy, bulky materials, while also setting up and operating machinery (saws, routers, grinders, drills) to process metal or lumber to specifications. This role includes loading/unloading trucks, managing inventory via scans, and ensuring a safe, clean work environment.
Qualifications
Core Responsibilities
Forklift Operation: Operate heavy-duty forklifts (18,000lb+ capacity frequently required in steel) to move structural steel, scrap metal, or timber. Load and unload flatbed trailers and containers.
Machine Operation: Set up, adjust, and operate metal roll former machinery, custom trim machines to cut and shape materials to specifications.
Material Handling: Transport raw materials to workstations and transfer finished products to staging areas.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to strict OSHA regulations and company safety procedures, including wearing PPE (safety boots, safety gloves)
Maintenance & Quality Control: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and machines. Inspect finished parts/lumber for accuracy using tape measures or calipers.
Documentation: Maintain inventory records, cut sheets, daily activity logs, and any required production documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications
Certification: Forklift Operator Certification will be issued on site.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience operating heavy, high-capacity forklifts in a manufacturing or lumber environment.
Physical Strength: Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and carry objects weighing 50-100 lbs.
Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers) previous experience a plus.
Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and work in extreme temperatures.
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent
Working Conditions:
Environment: Loud, fast-paced factory setting with high-temperature variations.

The Pit Loader Operator will be primarily responsible for safely loading, moving, and managing material within the quarry to support production operations. Operate front-end loader to move and load shot rock, crushed stone, or overburden safely and efficiently.
Maintain a consistent feed to the plant/crusher while minimizing downtime and spillage.
Plant maintenance and clean up when needed
Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues or needed repairs.
Assist with maintaining haul roads, loading areas, and stockpiles to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.

Ability to maintain safe working conditions
Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts as production requires. Overtime is not promised.
Self-starter/ ability to work without close supervision
Physical ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift/move up to 50 lbs. as needed.
Previous experience working in mining environment preferred
Willingness to cross-train and assist in other areas of the operation as needed.
Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

As a member of the Materials Team, you will be responsible for stocking the various stations on the assembly line with the materials and parts necessary to assemble automobile seats, preparing empty pallets and returnable packaging for shipping, and understanding and meeting production needs through frequent communication and time management under minimal supervision.
The Role:
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
* Moving materials using an industrial truck (forklift, tugger, pallet jack, etc.).
* Manually pushing material bins up to production stations
* Utilizing a RF Scanner
* Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, and/or recognizing differences
or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
* Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify and meet production needs.
* Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.

Forklift operators perform two main functions putaways and replenishment.
Putaways are performed by the forklift operator transporting pallets from the receiving dock to the correct picking slot or reserve storage location in the warehouse.
Pallets are to be put away in the aisle that the item is selected from, and as close to the picking location as physically possible.
Forklift replenishments are performed by the forklift operator by filling empty or near empty picking locations in the warehouse to keep product in stock for availability for selection. A drop or replenishment sheet is used by the forklift operator in directing him/her on which pallet is to be replenished first.
The forklift operator should get the drop or replenishment sheets from the warehouse/shipping office before making any replenishment.
All pallets put in to a picking location should have all wrap removed by the forklift operator when it is replenished.
Forklift operators are required to fill out a damage sheet each shift to account for any damage that occurs in their aisles during the shift, and turn it in to supervision at shift end.
