A well-established distribution company in Moorpark is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receiving Associate to support warehouse operations. This role focuses on accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming products and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and unload incoming shipments
Verify product quantities and inspect for accuracy and quality
Match items to purchase orders and record receipts in the system
Use RF scanners, computers, and printers to process and label received materials
Organize and store received goods in designated warehouse areas
Communicate any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area

SUMMARY:
Responsible for preparing and storing materials for production. Processes, checks, verifies, and inventories materials received and released to Production. **THE OPPORTUNITY**
Silvus is seeking a **_Production Material Handler_** who will report to the _Production Manager_ on the Production Team. The successful individual in this role will play a key role in maintaining smooth production flow by managing the movement, tracking, and administrative handling of materials between Production, Supply Chain, Stockroom, Quality, and Shipping Departments.
This position is responsible for both the physical handling and clerical processing of materials, ensuring the timely delivery of components, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the reallocation of materials in response to internal change orders or customer-driven modifications.
This position is fully onsite, Monday through Friday at Silvus Technologies' HQ in the heart of vibrant **West Los Angeles.**

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Perform daily material delivery and pickup between the Stockroom, Production stations, Quality, and Shipping areas.
+ Reallocate materials across job codes in the ERP system based on customer cancellations, change orders, or shipping schedule shifts.
+ Pull, stage, and verify materials for Sales Orders in coordination with the Supply Chain, Stockroom, Quality, Shipping and Production teams.
+ Support Production by ushering electronic materials, bins, and ESD bags between suites and stations throughout the facility.
+ Work closely with the Supply Chain, Stockroom, Quality, and Shipping teams to ensure all materials are properly issued, tracked, and documented.
+ Maintain accurate records of material movements and transactions in the system.
+ Support inventory accuracy through participation in weekly cycle counts, month-end and year-end physical inventory counts and audits.
+ Ensure adherence to ESD and material handling protocols to prevent damage or contamination.

Essential Responsibilities
Maintain compliance with company and OSHA policy in regard to operations and safety issues, including but not limited to: forklift operation, proper use of PPE, sharps discovery and handling.
Must clearly understand and perform all procedures and equipment per training and must attend all required training sessions (including safety training).
Move material in a timely and efficient manner with forklifts utilizing multiple attachments.
Load and unload materials to and from unit load device (ULD). Accurately record weights, ensure all bags/rolls/pallets are labeled and store in the proper location.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the department and the surrounding area (including outside dock area) according to master cleaning list (MCL).
Fill out forms as required.
Must be attentive to potential contamination issues and handle issues appropriately.
Responsible for compliance with food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)requirements.
Adhere to applicable prerequisite programs (PRP) per HACCP requirement.
Other duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking a full-time Forklift Operator - EWP for our Oxnard Branch that reports directly to our Operations Manager. This role operates a forklift to lift, load, or move material. This person will also operate a chainsaw to cut material as needed. Inspects and maintains forklift and chainsaw equipment as needed. $18.00 - $26.00 per hour DOE.
Qualifications
Essential Duties for Forklift Operator - EWP
Reads hand written or system generated sales order to determine product
Notes all special instructions for filling an order
Operates chainsaw and other saw equipment
Operates forklift safely at all times following all safety rules and regulations
Performs daily inspections of forklift(s) as required by OSHA and Capital Lumber Company standards
Notifies Supervisory of any necessary equipment maintenance/repair or safety concerns
Bands lumber product for storage or shipping
Assists in moving of inventory for storage within the yard area as directed
Properly stores inventory-level and covered as necessary
Assists in inventory and/or cycle counts as directed
Assist in keeping all lanes and areas clean and clear for traffic
Perform other work related duties as assigned by your supervisor and be flexible and adaptable to changes that will occur during the course of employment
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
1 to 4 years previous experience with forklifts and other machinery
Has Forklift Certification
Good knowledge of lumber products
Ability to model the Capital values and to provide innovative solutions
Ability to deliver high quality, detailed error free work on a consistent basis
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to the extent required to receive and communicate information as necessary to the position
Abilities:
Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds
Must be able stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 5% or less of the workday
Must be able to sit and walk or otherwise move around for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes, and moving mechanical parts and vibrations. Work is performed outdoors, and employee is exposed to variety of extreme weather conditions at the distribution warehouse. The noise level in the work environment and warehouse can be loud.

Job Description:
At GT's Living Foods, our Production Forklift Operators I, ensure that our production departments have all the ingredients and materials necessary to maintain the flow of production. Production Forklift Operators (I) are responsible for transporting and storing pallets of materials and ingredients throughout the warehouse facility using a sit-down forklift. Production Forklift Operators I are also responsible for verifying that the quantity and location of ingredients and materials are accurately entered into the ERP/D365 system, both physically and systematically.
Essential Duties:
Inspect forklift for damage and complete 'Forklift Operator's Daily Checklist' prior to operation to confirm forklift functions properly
Review the ingredient and material order schedule and assignment to identify the ingredients and materials needed for transport
Operate a sit-down forklift to transport pallets of ingredients and materials to one area in the facility to production staging areas
Use RF scanner to scan pallet license plates to track inventory and location of materials into ERP/D365 system (or fill out load map)
Escalate inconsistencies between systematic and physical quantities to management to help locate necessary product
Physically locate containers of materials and ingredients if they are not in the documented location in ERP/D365 system.
Use WMS (Warehouse management system) to pick material.
Use WMS to make transactions into the 365 dynamic, such as cycle count, inquiry location, etc.
Build and re-palletize pallets with identified materials and ingredients and wrap with shrink wrap
Transport and load pallets of ingredients/materials onto trailers for facility transfers using the trailer load map to ensure proper weight distribution
Adhere to all quality, food safety and workplace safety standards, such as GMPs, Lockout/Tagout, OSHA guidelines and other company policies and procedures
Clean work area as needed to maintain a safe work environment.
Occasionally assist Pallet Jack Operators by transporting pallets of ingredients/materials throughout the warehouse facility, using the pallet jack.
Occasionally perform the duties of department associates as needed.
Load and unload the container with the material needed for production.
