JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Load, unload, stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment
Use scanners to find and put away tires and assist with inventory control
You can expect to lift 50 pounds consistently throughout your shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds. When lifting commercial tires, you will do team lifts or use mechanical equipment.
When working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires you will need to be able to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds
Some of our stock racks are 25 feet tall, so you must be comfortable working at those heights safely while operating equipment.
Be on the move. You should be willing and able to work on your feet for extended periods of time and work overtime as needed
Contribute to our culture of safety, ensuring adherence to all safety policies and operating procedures.
May assist other departments, such as ecomm, inventory, and will call depending on business needs
Driving
Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles during one of our many routes while making 10-20 deliveries/day deliveries
Complete and maintain accurate records and logs including driver's logs, fuel purchase logs, and other records as required by company policy and law
Make deliveries on time at our customers' locations while in a safe, punctual manner in all weather conditions
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle you're driving for the day
Operate a handheld device, provided, and ensure all deliveries are fulfilled
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with customers, coworkers, and management
Collect payments from customers upon delivery of product

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, SRL (self-retracting lifeline). All equipment is provided by U.S. AutoForce except for steel / composite toe boots. All team members must be able to adhere with safety and manufacture guidelines for compliant use of all protective equipment.
Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Fumes associated with tires and occasionally car parts and lubricants are prevalent.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 21 years or older (mandatory company policy)
1 year of professional driving experience (cube van, box truck or semi), and satisfactory completion of company road test by qualified assessor
1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience
Must possess a valid driver's license and good driving record in compliance with our driver policy
Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high reach lifts. Pass a forklift certification test
Must possess a valid driver's license and good driving record in compliance with our driver policy
Ability to safely lift 80 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 120 pounds
Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 60 pounds - working with barrels and industrial/agricultural tires
Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
Ability to work overtime as needed
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check (we test for THC / marijuana) (requires clean background check)
Valid DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain DOT Medical Card via DOT/FMCSA guidelines and requirements during the hiring process.

The function of a Material Handler is to process parts through the organization both physically and through the Warehouse Management System for record keeping. Material Handlers handle a variety of materials and products. The Material Handler also operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks and load docks. They are also expected to keep inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Use hand trucks, dollies, pallet jacks and other motorized equipment to move material or freight in the warehouse-storage facility
Unload customer products as they come inbound
Load product that is being processed for outbound
Weigh products and take measurements (DIMS)
Receive, unpack, check, and verify product to ensure accuracy
Process receiving exceptions as needed
Use handheld RF tools to receive, pick, stock check, and ship products into WMS
Conduct stock checks, part number verification, Cycle Counts, support physical inventory
Pack, re-pack and wrap products for shipping and storage
Consolidate partial pallets into full pallets for location and inventory consolidation
Label parts as needed during receipt, put away, picking or shipping process
Pick parts for order fulfillment, shipments, scrap requests, etc.
Strap/unstrap or open pallets, boxes or crates as needed
Stage completed orders or shipments in staging area
Ensure that orders and shipping material are accompanied with proper delivery documents: Revised BOL, packing slip, manual tag, etc.
Inform lead/supervisor in a timely manner about OSD (overages, shortages & damage) found while picking orders or shipments
Check QB to ensure timely and accurate responses to inquiries
Process RAM to ensure efficient and accurate handling of materials
Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness
Place materials in variance, ensuring proper categorization and tracking
Process materials for shipment to BELFOR, coordinating logistics and documentation
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
Follow all workplace safety regulations and guidelines
Executes department specific documentation processes including bill of lading verification, inventory reconciliation, and warehouse management system data entry to support inbound, outbound, and internal material handling operations
Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Cross-train as needed to learn other warehouse functions
Other duties and tasks assigned as needed

1- 2 years' forklift experience preferred
Willingness to learn and apply LEAN principles, including 5S and 7S methodologies; training provided
Great communication skills
Understanding of logistics, shipping, receiving, and standard work instruction protocols
Strong math and writing skills
Basic computer skills with knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
Prior experience with Inventory control preferred.
