Operate the automatic can palletizer including inserting separator sheets between layers of cans, and placing top frames on top of completed pallets
Sorting and inspecting cans, printing pallet tickets, and performing quality checks
Keeping the work area clean and organized, performing minor tasks as directed by the line maintainer here qualified
Supporting the line maintainer in the operation of the production lines where qualified
Assisting in the preparing, loading and feeding of metal coils when requested
Removing jams as they occur in the production lines
Visual inspection of finished cans and ends for obvious defects and recording this information
Assisting in removing metal dies and assisting in lubrication when needed
Replacing and re-aligning cans as necessary
Operating automatic bulk packing machinery to load/unload various size can onto pallets
Removing old ID tags from packing material and applying correct ID tags

Physical Demands

Work Environment and Working Conditions
Work will normally be performed inside of a warehouse facility. Temperatures can vary from 32 degrees to 100 degrees. The work environment is usually fast paced with regular deadlines. Extreme noise and vibrations may occasionally be experienced. Associates may be subjected to hazards such as burns, cuts, strains, electrical, explosive, and mechanical. Due to the nature of the work, associates may be exposed to atmospheric conditions such as dust fumes, odors, and poor ventilation. For the safety of our associates, all associates are required to wear protective steel toed shoes as well as other protective devices that management deems appropriate.

Your Day at Lowe's
As a Receiver/Stocker, you keep our stores clean and presentable to improve customers' overall shopping experience. You ensure our merchandise is accurately received and replenished by safely unloading merchandise from incoming freight, moving it to the sales floor, and stocking shelves.
This role is physically demanding, and to be successful, you will need to understand proper lifting procedures and prepare to move merchandise for most of your shift. In a Nutshell:
Laddawn has manufacturing facilities located from coast to coast, which allows us to rapidly ship to our customers no matter where they are located. You'll help us get finished product out the door and into the hands of our customers.
What you'll be doing:
· Executing all aspects of shipping orders and receiving product from outside vendors; printing and pulling warehouse transfers and orders. Assembling loads for other facilities as needed.
· Preparing skids and assembling finished orders then loading shipments.
· Receiving incoming shipments then inspecting and storing merchandise or materials. Restocking corrugated and production's needs.
· Supporting and complying with safety guidelines while operating hand truck or various trucks from our fleet of trucks (fork, reach, and picker) to move or convey shipments.
You must be able to:
· See and hear
· Regularly stand, walk sit and communicate
· Occasionally stretch, bend, climb, balance, stoop or kneel
· Regularly move up to 75 pounds
· And you cannot be afraid of heights
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent a plus

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Warehouse Associate - Internet Shipper to join our growing team. The Warehouse Associate - internet shipper is responsible for the entire shipping process of orders that have been picked and ready to pack. You should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, passionate about satisfying customers and committed to work safety.
To succeed as a Warehouse Associate - Internet Shipper, you must be accurate, able to work at a fast pace, prompt, willing to work as part of the internet shipping team, willing to work a flexible schedule and committed to providing our customers with an excellent experience.
Accurate packing and shipping of various sized products to ensure customer expectations are met.
Determine method of shipment utilizing software
Create shipping labels using multiple ship software platforms
Maintain clean work area
Meet minimum daily shipping output expectations
Comply with all quality standards and policies
Assemble cardboard containers for shipping
Properly fill containers with void fill to protect product
Examine shipment to ensure shipment specifications are met
Confidentiality
Assist in store/ warehouse (stock, parts pulling etc.) as assigned
Maintain and promote workplace safety
Securing and transferring cash or other assets.
Qualifications
Ability to read product identification quickly and accurately.
Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives.
Exceptional verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively, professionally, with tact and diplomacy
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Ability to meet assigned deadlines
Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10 - 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up
to 100 lbs.
Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach
Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/ or stairs) or balance
May be subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
