POSITION SUMMARY:
Unload trucks and put incoming material away. Supply Aseptic with their packaging materials. Help with cycle counts and month ending counts of ingredients and packaging. Help with UPS and FedEx outgoing packages and deliver incoming packages.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supply Aseptic department with their packaging materials.
Help with UPS and FedEx outgoing and incoming packages daily. Make sure that accounting gets all the paperwork for UPS and FedEx.
Help with monthly inventory and help accounting with any questions they may have about inventory counts.
Let Accounting and purchasing agent know of any damages or credit material.
Receiving responsibilities.
Inspect all inbound product.
Verify counts of all inbound product.
Use trailer locks at all times.
Inspect all inbound pallets and document quality of pallets and product on Inspection Report.
Ticket and verify counts and quality of all inbound product frozen, fresh & packaging materials.
General warehouse duties including keeping warehouse clean and orderly.
Help with rotation of inventory to insure that the oldest product is used first.
Practice all safety procedures.
Operate fork truck in safe and efficient manner.
Maintain daily log sheets as required, such as forklift inspection sheets.
Maintains regular and consistent attendance.
Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP's, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.
Responsible for Food Safety and Food Quality of MFI products.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE REQUIRED:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent.

Position Overview:

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Forklift Operator is responsible for moving materials to and from proper storage areas by operating a small industrial vehicle.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Attend pre-shift meetings, including stretching as a group.
Drive forklift in a safe and productive manner.
Complete the daily forklift inspection and remove the lift from service if a defect is detected.
Ship and receive product damage free and accurately by completing the Quality Reassurance Checks.
Monitor the floor for safety concerns or infractions and act appropriately.
Complete all documents and paperwork completely and accurately.
Fill customer orders accurately and follow the customer's special instructions.
Work very closely with the office staff to ensure discrepancies and issues are completed accurately.
Ensure warehouse is organized, clean, damages are taken care of and pallets are off the floor and placed into bins.
Promote teamwork within your team and between teams by communicating in a positive and pleasant manner.
Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP's, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety
Responsible for Food Safety and Food Quality of MFI products.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High school diploma or G.E.D or an equivalent combination of education and experience
The successful completion of Powered Industrial Truck training program and pass the forklift certification.
Effectively read, write and speak English.
Strong math and configuration is necessary
Ability to analyze situations and make the best decision which benefits the company without jeopardizing the health and well-being of the employee.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
A minimum of six months experience in a palletized warehouse environment is preferred.
Good Inter-Personal skills are required.
Certification is preferred but, is not required at the time of hire. All distribution operators will be provided with MFI approved P.I.T. training /certification at the start of employment.
