BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Helpdesk Support Analyst in Phoenix, AZ 85007

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: (Indianapolis, IN 46256)

Duration: 12 months with the possibility of extension

Position Description :

Shift Mon-Thurs 6:30am-4pm, Friday 6:30am-10:30am. Possible OT on Friday's till 3pm. Holiday weeks will revert back to 8-hour days. If overtime is being worked, they will start with Friday afternoon and go into Saturday if necessary. Attendance policy strictly enforced and attached for reference.

Duties:

Perform repetitive assembly of care kits/diabetic testing meters (this includes light assembly of the product and

literature/instructions that go with it)

Must be able to stand in the same location for 8 hours per day

Pack shipping boxes, including labeling and palatalizing

Perform general 5s and housekeeping duties as necessary.

Perform other duties such as quality inspections, as assigned

Must have excellent attendance

Able to work in a team environment

Specific duties may include:
Following all applicable safety rules and procedures Receiving incoming building materials and placing them into inventory Organizing and maintaining the warehouse for effective and efficient utilization of available storage space while also ensuring that all products can be quickly retrieved for shipment Pulling ordered material from inventory and staging it for pickups and deliveries Maintaining all products in a quality and marketable condition Keeping accurate inventory records Operating a forklift safely and efficiently and being able to handle heavy and awkward loads Estimating the weight of forklift loads so that the delivery vehicles are properly loaded and are not overweight Physically sorting through various products in order to remove defective material Responsibilities may include assisting with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites and delivery functions including unloading and staging of product at jobsites as assigned

Specific qualifications include:
Ability to be trained and licensed/certified by L&W Supply to operate forklift equipment Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist throughout complete shifts Ability to lift and carry up to 115 lbs with assistance Previous warehouse experience is preferred Knowledge in all applicable building material products is preferred Experience with drywall and metal framing is required

Oatey Supply Chain, Inc., in North Las Vegas is hiring for warehouse support! The role requires experience with RF scanner gun, electric pallet jack; forklift and/or reach truck skills are a plus!

The position is responsible for four main functions:

• · Audit finished pallets: break them down, recount, repalletize and stage.
• · Picking: using an electric pallet jack
• · Inbounds: pallets with mixed product come in and need to be broken down, like-product put together, and repalletized.
• · Cleaning/organizing: maintaining neat appearance of all product bays in the warehouse, etc., (ensure boxes are stacked neatly, etc.)

Your first duties will be primarily as an auditor and other duties as needed, such as breaking down pallets, clean up, etc. Within a few weeks, and depending on your aptitude, you will be going through pallet jack and forklift OSHA required training to advance you to picking duties.

Knowledge and Experience
Good communication skills, English fluency, both verbal and written. Forklift operator authorization required and demonstrated ability in safe equipment operation, including elevated locations (heights). Must be able to comply with manufacturer’s weight limit to wear required safety tether for picking at elevated locations. (NOTE: Skills in operating a forklift, reach truck, and order picker are preferred, but not required (applicant will be required to complete the company powered industrial truck certification training and operate an order picker within first 3 months).

Demonstrated ability in proper freight handling. Working knowledge of all hazardous shipping rules and regulations. Willingness to work and to follow instructions. Reading ability sufficient to identify labels and understand written documentation. Cooperative attitude toward co-workers and supervisors. One (1) to four (4) years of experience in a warehouse setting preferred

Education and Certification
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
