Description SUMMARY DESCRIPTION Under the general supervision of the assigned department administrator, perform a full range of warehouse duties; receive, store, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment to support District operations. This position ensures accurate inventory management, timely on and off campus deliveries, and adherence to safety protocols within the warehouse and distribution areas. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS Warehouse worker works under general supervision and handles minor issues independently. This classification requires above entry-level warehouse and inventory management skills. Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School diploma or a General Education Degree (GED) AND Two (2) years of warehouse operations experience. * One year of experience is equal to 12 months of experience at 40 hours per week. Navigating customer websites and data entry. What will my responsibilities include? Verifies and keeps records of outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment: Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Prepares items to remain free from damage in transit or storage by use of protective sleeves, wrapping, and padding. Is expected to visually inspect outgoing product as the last line of defense in the company-wide quality system. Input of data entry. May coordinate with others in preparing outgoing shipments. Access customer portals to determine shipping instructions. Move material to other areas of the factory. Clean and maintain work area as part of 5s program Maintaining 5's + Safety of department Serve as a backup driver for the department when needed Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate - overtime may be required Qualifications What key skills and experience do I need? Maintains loading and unloading ramps, sets up signage, barrier fencing, ropes and maze lines. Performs daily safety inspections on the lifts and completes a daily lift log.

Safely load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks within specified timelines. Responsible for noting and recording exceptions in count or condition of shipments to minimize cargo claims. Management of paperwork: i.e., check of accuracy and completion of delivery receipts, bills of lading, trailer manifests, counting freight, accuracy of hazardous material shipments, special loading, and handling instructions. Responsible for regrouping shipments as needed. Ability to meet the Company's reliability standard for employees. Availability to work various shifts during the week to accommodate business needs. Other duties as assigned.
