Responsibilities:
Receive materials and perform quality checks against purchase orders, specifications, and documentation.
Label and serialize products, ensuring proper packaging for safe, damage-free delivery.
Pull, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment in compliance with quality control standards.
Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with year-end inventory tasks.
Reconcile material discrepancies, resolve variances, and investigate inventory issues.
Accurately input inventory, receiving, and shipping data into SAP or similar ERP systems.
Generate reports on inventory shortages, variances, and reconciliation status.
Kit and stage materials for production; verify order accuracy.
Organize and maintain warehouse space, including consolidating materials and general upkeep.
Operate a forklift and pallet jack when necessary (training and certification provided).
Collaborate with a small warehouse team across multiple sites and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Suggest improvements to operational methods and support continuous process enhancements.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in warehouse operations and forklift handling.
Experience with inventory control, materials management, or purchasing in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with reconciliation and variance resolution processes.
Exposure to handling sensitive materials (e.g., optics, hardware) is a plus.
Skills:
Strong analytical skills with experience resolving inventory variances and performing material reconciliations.
