This person would be responsible for pulling and picking orders for the welding department. We are looking for someone with an eye for detail and accuracy. Distribution Center Loaders are responsible for efficiently loading and unloading of products into and from trailers including flatbeds. Prior forklift experience or ability to operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner is required. Pay Range: $15-20 /hr (based on experience) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Loading & unloading of trailers, including flatbeds Maintain proper trailer weight distribution while maximizing trailer cubes/space Perform piece counts to verify accuracy Scan merchandise into inventory using scanning equipment. Print price tags and price merchandise accordingly. Break down merchandise into smaller quantities for shipping to retail locations. Responsible for accurate allocation of quantities. Submit packing slips and freight bills as necessary. Cross check quantities to packing slip, making necessary notations when needed. Load merchandise onto proper pallet, shrink wrap when necessary. Practice safety in the workplace by using safe work habits.
