General Job Description
Move and supply products in the tire building area. Move materials or finished goods. Handle materials in a safe and orderly manner. Assist with the timely fulfilment and delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities
Load materials into tire building machines
Handle material, scrap, and waste
Sort material and tires
Load and unload incoming and outgoing material and products
Move material to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas
Identify and label materials, and record their locations in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventory
Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and loading them

Applies railcar hand brakes, connects railcar air hoses, changes railcar air hoses, provides point protection for shoving movements. Checks and cleans tracks of obstructions that could cause derailment.
