The Shipping Associate supports the mission of Anchor Fabrication Kansas by supporting the production workflow through proper and adequate distribution of incoming materials and products. Key Job Responsibilities: Prepares products for shipping by stabilizing products to reduce the possibility of being damaged during delivery. Ensures quantity counts are accurate and each pallet, box or item receives the proper labeling. Assists with assembly of final parts as needed. Maintains adequate records of all items shipped. Assists customers with orders being picked up. Provides great customer service when assisting truck drivers. Loads, unloads, and moves products into inventory. Operates forklift to move parts, pallets, and load trucks. Performs other work-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and Work Experience Requirements: High school education or the equivalent, required. 3-5 years of Shipping or Receiving experience, preferred. 1-3 years of Forklift experience, required. 1-3 years of Manufacturing experience, preferred. Previous experience with MS Office Suite. Must possess high organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and establish effective work priorities in a fast paced, high-pressure environment. Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions: Frequent bending, squatting and twisting, required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently. Normal shop environment.
