Familiarity with small outbound freight partners. Key Responsibilities: Assist in Loading and unloading of delivery trucks. Receive shipments into GCS and maintain inventory through daily cycle counts. Locate manufacturer's packing list, verifies receipt of each item listed, signs and attaches packing list to each bill of lading. Sign and date freight bill noting all adjustments and/or damage to product and reports any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the appropriate person. Accurately pulls, fills, packs and sets up orders for outbound shipping. Organize shipment priorities, such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, common carrier. Prepares orders in all stages leading up to outbound shipment being picked, packed and shipped accurately. Assist in the quick cross-dock of inventory or redirects to allocated spaces within warehouse. Communicate positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and partners. Operates a forklift safely and efficiently, maintains required certification, performs vehicle safety checks and reports discrepancies to supervisor. Responsibilities/ Accountabilities ⢠Inspect carriers/trailers of inbound and outbound shipments. ⢠Escorts drivers always when in the facility. ⢠Receives and unloads freight, checks for damaged goods, verifies items and quantities received with BOL, Packing List, PO, etc. ⢠Moves materials as required for sampling, inspection, status label changes, etc. ⢠Move materials from Quarantine to Released or Rejected areas as directed by Warehouse Management. ⢠Perform dispensing activities for Packaging and Raw materials. ⢠Picks materials from Released inventory following GMP rules as required per production schedule, pick list, or production record requirement. ⢠Make the necessary documentation entries. ⢠Deliver materials to specified locations in the warehouse. ⢠Load outbound freight as specified in BOLâs after confirming material or production descriptions, lot numbers, count and quantities. ⢠Perform inventory counts as required. ⢠Maintains assigned areas in a clean and orderly state. Performs minor and spot cleaning as required. ⢠Verifies documentation and reports for accuracy. ⢠Complies will all aspects of quality management system, cGMP policies, documentation and record keeping in accordance with industry and FDA standards and Safety and sanitation regulations. ⢠Other duties assigned as required by Warehouse Management. Education Qualifications ⢠High School Diploma (or equivalent experience) Experience ⢠Two (2) to five (5) years minimum of direct work experience in warehousing. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in pharmaceutical warehousing. ⢠Forklift experience is a plus.
