Under general direction, the material handler's primary role is to manipulate, move, load and unload materials by hand or through use of a variety of material handling equipment. * Loads and unloads trucks using material handling equipment. Ensuring that all product received and/or shipped matches with documentation provided and that the QC team are notified where applicable.
* Fully and accurately completing all the relevant warehouse and operational checklists.
* Participates in cycle counts and full inventory counts.
* Authorized personnel will operate the Foley's delivery truck to move finished product and other material between the two Foley's locations as well as to the Brockmann's location.

**We're looking for an experienced warehouse freight handler to join our team.**
**Available Shifts:****Occasional weekends may be required based on business needs.*
**Grocery (Dry Goods) Department**
2nd Shift- 6:00 PM - until completion
**Perishables (Cold, freezer Goods) Department**
2nd Shift - 4:00 PM - until completion
**Responsibilities include:**
* In a fast-paced environment, safely and efficiently unload tractor trailers delivering product to our distribution warehouses.
* Use a variety of forklifts to remove product from trailers.
* Break down pallets and restack cases onto new pallets - this is where the manual labor comes in!
* All other duties as assigned.
***Please note this is not a travel position and you should live local to the site.**

**Qualifications Required:**
**Experience:**
* Prior experience as a warehouse associate is preferred.
* Experience working in a warehouse environment (e.g., order selector/picking product storage, product staging, powered pallet jack/forklifts, etc.) or other relevant experience such as landscaping, construction, roofing, roadwork etc.
**Skills/Knowledge:**
* Good verbal/written communication skills.
* Ability to speak, read, and write English for effective communication
* Willingness to work the required schedule.
* Basic math skills.
* Attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
* Interact respectfully and courteously with associates, co-workers, management, and customers.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
**Work Environment:**
* This position is designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Warehouse environment with extreme heat and cold temperatures.
* Work in temperatures as low as -20 degrees in cold storage sites or up to 110 degrees in dry storage sites while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
**Physical Demands:**
* Ability to lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push and squat most of the workday.
* Handle cases weighing from 25 to 80 pounds and can expect to handle between 50 and 200+ pallets on any given day.
* The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery alarms or alarms) in moderate to loud work environments.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Operating cutting and assembly machinery; stacking and cutting lumber; building pallets and crates.
Requirements
DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS
+ Load and operate cutting and assembly machinery.
+ Ensure equipment is operating efficiently and effectively, with high attention to safety.
+ Check components for quality.
+ Learn to identify wood species and grade of material.
+ Read and interpret job orders.
+ Must be self-motivated and meet the daily expectations of the supervisor.
+ Use good judgment.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
+ Manufacturing experience preferred.
+ Experience with automation machinery, and air tools including nail guns and other manufacturing tools.

+ Able to listen and communicate effectively with co-workers, customers and management, and respond to common inquiries or complaints.
+ Able to apply basic mathematical concepts like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to such tasks as job order verification.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
