An aerospace client is looking for a Materials Coordinator who will expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules.
Position: Materials Coordinator
Pay Rate: $40/hr. on W2
Duration: 12 months or longer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules.
Maintains factory orders updating and Assists in determining possible and actual shortages and may initiate action to correct these deficiencies.
Uses knowledge of production, procurement, and engineering departments to alert proper authorities regarding potential problems and appropriate remedial action.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
US Citizenship is required.
3+ years of experience in Production Control
Ability to Lifting 30-50 lb. hardware
Ability to Obtain Secret Security Clearance
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Experience in SAP ERP System
Experience in GOLD Gov't Tracking System

* Experience working in a warehouse environment (e.g., order selector/picking product storage, product staging, powered pallet jack/forklifts, etc.) or other relevant experience such as landscaping, construction, roofing, roadwork etc.
Skills/Knowledge:
* Good verbal/written communication skills.
* Ability to speak, read, and write English for effective communication
* Willingness to work the required schedule.
* Basic math skills.
* Attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
* Interact respectfully and courteously with associates, co-workers, management, and customers.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
Work Environment:
* This position is designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Warehouse environment with extreme heat and cold temperatures.
* Work in temperatures as low as -20 degrees in cold storage sites or up to 110 degrees in dry storage sites while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
Physical Demands:
* Ability to lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push and squat most of the workday.
* Handle cases weighing from 25 to 80 pounds and can expect to handle between 50 and 200+ pallets on any given day.
* The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery alarms or alarms) in moderate to loud work environments.
Education:
* We believe that skills and experience are what truly matter. While education can be a valuable asset, it is not a strict requirement for success in this role.
