Job Summary: A Warehouse Operator is responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of goods within a warehouse environment. This role involves operating machinery, managing inventory, ensuring workplace safety, and supporting supply chain operations. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities: Receiving & Inspection: Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against invoices and packing lists. Storage & Organization: Store goods in designated locations, ensuring efficient space utilization and easy retrieval. Order Picking and Shipping: Accurately pick products for shipment according to customer or internal orders and requirements from other departments. Inventory Management: Conduct stock checks, update inventory records, and report discrepancies. Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Safety & Compliance: Follow workplace safety protocols, adhere to company policies, and comply with regulatory standards. General Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards. Required Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution center (preferred). Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks. Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting. Forklift certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain certification. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Work Environment: May involve standing for long periods and working in varying temperatures.
