Inventory Shipping and Receiving Job Requirements: Keeping records of all products shipped and received. They pack goods for shipping, understand shipping documents, and ensure that all orders have been filled correctly. This role is also responsible for verifying incoming shipments by comparing items received with the enclosed packing list and contacting the vendor immediately regarding discrepancies. This role is responsible for issuing items from inventory, returning items when necessary, and for performing periodic inventory counts to ensure proper stewardship of the company's inventory of parts and equipment. The incumbent must be physically fit and able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted, stand for extended periods, climb ladders, etc. Unpacking shipment deliveries. Preparing packages for shipment. Maintaining records of outgoing shipments, and inventory transactions. Creating mailing labels. Pulling inventory for internal departments.
