Job Summary:
Liberty Tire Recycling has an immediate opening for a Material Handler in Port Saint Lucie, FL. This is a manual labor position.
Successfully operates a sit-down forklift while complying with all safety standards, regulations, and operating procedures.
Ensures all finished product complies with company packaging and pallet standards.
Verifies and tracks pallet weights and bag count per pallet for adherence to company standards.
Successfully and accurately labels all finished production pallets according to company specifications.
Supports team by ensuring pallets, slip sheets, pallet caps and pallet wrapper film is stocked and maintained in both the production and storage areas.
Successfully works with Logistics Manager to ensure all finished product, rework product and production supplies are stored and maintained in their correct locations.
Notifies Bagging Equipment Operator or Plant Manager of any issues or problems.
Follows and complies with all company safety standards, work rules and regulations.
Successfully operates a bobcat/skid steer while complying with all safety standards, regulations, and operating procedures.
Monitors and examines equipment to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
Participates in training, retraining and continual improvement processes and methods.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications:
1-2 years' experience operating a forklift in an industrial operation environment.
Proven ability to operate a sit-down forklift successfully and safely.
Familiarity with how a sit-down forklift operates and possesses the ability to help identify any general operating issues or problems.
Ability to read and comprehend written and oral instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, production instructions, and warehouse layout diagrams.
Proven ability of maintaining a clean, safe work environment
Must be able to effectively communicate one-on-one and in small group situations.
Successfully operate a wide variety of hand tools and computer equipment
Strong willingness to work hard, be reliable, attentive and provide attention to detail.
Ability to stand and move around for long periods of time.
Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs. - required

Required Qualifications:

Material handler job in West Palm Beach, FL
Wool Supply is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate. Duties include loading and unloading trucks, putting stock away, picking orders, shipping and receiving, and other general warehouse tasks. There is room for growth, with opportunities to become a counter or inside salesperson.
The ideal candidate will have relevant warehouse experience. Forklift, order picker, hand truck, and pallet jack experience is a plus. The candidate should have ability to physically handle large and heavy items. Experience with plumbing supplies or building materials is beneficial.
Hours:
Full-time
Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, 40 hrs/week
