Job Description WAREHOUSE PACKAGE HANDLER (Stocker) - This position is responsible for placing packages in their specified location within our racking system, and then putting away the inbound packages received daily into their designated locations within warehouse inventory by utilizing a hand-held scanning device. Overtime is required due to business needs or during our peak season. Overtime entails shifts lasting up to 10 hours and work weeks extending up to 60 hours. Assists in the preparation of invoices and lists of items as needed. Provides customer service and serves in an administrative capacity when needed. Assists in special and scheduled physical inventories. Promote self-improvement in assigned tasks and always maintains a clean and safe work environment by sweeping, cleaning, and removing trash. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements: Key Performance Indicators: Ensure Tredit Trucks are loaded correctly nose to tail in accordance with planned delivery route Ensure shipments match the dispatch paperwork Ensure shipments are loaded timely and accurately Required Education/Experience and Sills: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred. Customer service experience preferred. Prior warehouse experience in the shipping department preferred. Forklift experience preferred. RF scanner gun experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred. Proficiency in ERP and Warehouse Management Systems preferred. Understand the daily work schedule and delivery requirements and work to achieve on time/accurate delivery. Well organized, with the ability to track multiple activities involving numerous details. Willingness to be part of a team. Ability to work independently with a minimum of oversight. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Capacity to handle prolonged periods of sedentary work or physical activity depending on job demands. Must be able to occasionally stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to frequently use hands, talk or hear. Must be able to lift and move up to 50-75 pounds at times.
