RESORT CONDITIONS
This is a Winter Resort Area. It requires that work venues are varied, and in many cases include steep stairways, multilevel buildings and outdoor work areas, subject to very cold, sometimes wet or very sunny work sites. Some facilities are located at the base or bottom area and some are semi-remote and can only be reached by traveling via chair lift(s), skis or snowboards. Walking surfaces are frequently frozen, sloped and slippery. Proper footwear is a must, indoors and out. Workdays and hours, as well as the number of hours required will vary, with an emphasis on weekends and holidays.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Join the Sugarbush Lift Operations team this winter! Lift Operators provide exceptional guest service and are responsible for the safety of our guests while they are loading, riding, and unloading our chairlifts. We are hiring full and part time winter seasonal positions with holiday and weekend availability preferred. This job pays $18-$19.50 per hour depending on experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate chair lift and help guests getting on/off the lift.
Monitor the operation of the lift continually; notify appropriate personnel of any problems or unusual conditions.

Maintain lift area using shovels, rakes, etc. Visually inspect the area on a regular basis for safety hazards and appearance.

Positively greet customers at the base of the lift and to monitor RFID passes.
Help with training of new employees.
Answer a variety of questions regarding the resort and ski conditions.

Job Description
Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Associate
FLSA Status: Non Exempt
The main focus of the position verifies incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties. Willingness to cross train with other areas of the department.
Key Responsibilities
Packages parts carefully in protective wrap for shipment to customers.
Supports the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for our customer base.
Responsible for making arrangements for pick up by the carrier specified on the customer's purchase order.
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
Performs all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods.
Operates lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
Operates the stretch wrap banders.
Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times.

Physical and Environmental Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
