Any “near miss” or actual damage must be reported immediately to the Shift Leader or MMLM. • Works proactively and with a sense of urgency to ensure that all machines within the facility are kept stocked with materials in support of the production schedule as well as properly returning and documenting materials to the warehouse when required. Alerts Material Coordinator, MMLM or Shift Leader immediately when scheduled materials have not yet been received or are not physically here. Minimizing machine down time due to lack of materials is a key goal of this position. • Labels all materials and accurately. Accounts for and documents all material movements to maintain our inventory and location accuracy. • Wraps, bands, labels, and secures materials to pallets for safe movement of materials. • Make sure all material (boxes, zippers, film, cores) are pulled in FIFO (first in first out). • Assists with monthly physical inventory both on and offsite locations. • Ensures that all responsibilities and functions performed are in accordance with company and quality procedures as set forth in the Personnel Handbook and the Quality Manual.
