The Materials Handler is responsible for moving materials from machines at workstation as part of production process.
Issue and transfer parts for production. * Assist Production Planner and assembly stores whenever required.
Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.

Offloading and unloading trucks
Picking, packing, and kitting materials
Managing shipping documentation and small parcel shipments (UPS, FedEx, DHL)

· Drive the order picker to pick cartons and palletize orders.

· Scanning materials in and out of inventory with hand scanner.
· Weigh wrapped skids and record weight for labels.
Requirements:
· Current experience on the sit-down forklift of at least 5 continuous years

SUMMARY:
The Shipper Receiver must follow all plant safety, Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety rules and regulations. Documentation and paperwork procedures must be followed as well as verbal and / or written instructions and guidelines according to the job requirements. The Shipper Receiver will be responsible for pulling orders using FIFO (First In First Out) procedure, loading and unloading of trucks (finished product and raw materials), rotation of production brought from production to warehouse, and maintaining good housekeeping. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with Mizkan America safety policies, OSHA regulations, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures).
Notify in-coming trucks to back up to correct dock doors, chock wheels, lock out airline.
Check trailer contents to ensure product and quantity is correct before being received.
Report any damaged product to Quality Assurance before receiving.
Retrieve and match shipping bill of lading and pick ticket.
Pull and stage using FIFO and pickup ticket.
Check order a second time for accuracy before loading onto trailer (dates, quantity and quality).

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Machine Operator - Restock Driver will be responsible for retrieving inventory from both floor locations and up-stock storage for Product Transfers and deliver to the designated area for stocking or shipment. Position Description:
Comply and perform proper methods of loading and unloading various cargos, including hazardous and nonhazardous materials, to include connecting and disconnecting loading and unloading hoses, pressure hose, and product pump; monitoring gauges; opening and closing valves; and gauging depth of product in cargo tank and/or storage tanks.
Ensure the correct gallons and grades are safely being loaded and delivered at the correct location.
Safely drive to and from various locations as dispatched.
Provide fantastic customer service.
Follow all Department of Transportation safety regulations, all loading facility rules, and all applicable laws at all times.
Maintain, clean, and perform regular inspections of all company owned and leased equipment.
Maintain qualification to drive through mandatory physicals, drug screens, license renewals, etc.
Attend mandatory safety meetings.
Required Qualifications - Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
Knowledge and Skills Class A commercial driver's license with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
Two years of CDL driving experience with hazmat and safe record.
Maintain qualification to drive as mandated by the Department of Transportation.
Thorough understanding of hazardous materials pick-up and delivery procedures.
Understanding of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations with an emphasis on the Hazardous Materials section of the regulations.
Must be able to work day shift, night shift, weekends, and holidays. The fuel transportation business is 24/7/365.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time driving.
Must be able to bend, lift, carry, connect, disconnect, mount, and dismount heavy pieces of equipment (i.e. commercial grade fuel delivery hoses) and without creating a safety hazard.
Maintain authorization to load and unload product at facilities we conduct business with once authorized in the training process.
