Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Warehouse Associate.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM and some overtime as needed.
Responsibilities
* Operate heavy motorize material handling equipment in a safe manner
* Accurately pull and prepare orders for shipment
* Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material
* Coordinate the removal and replacement of worn components
* Effectively put items away and receive them in WMS (Warehouse Management System)
* Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
* Performing driving duties as a backup driver when required
Qualifications
* A background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred
* Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it
* General computer skills for basic data entry
* Forklift Operator experience is strongly preferred
* Requires working outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions and temperatures
* Ability to carry objects that are up to 50 lbs by hand and 50 lbs or more by using equipment
* Valid driver's license is required
* Pre-employment drug and background screening required*

Your Responsibilities
Currently hiring a Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver / Warehouse to deliver and unload finished products, parts and materials to our customer locations. Assist in the Warehouse as needed to receive, store and distribute inventory.
Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle locally.
Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting up 50 lbs. during physical loading/unloading of trucks.
Excellent customer service skills- our drivers are the most important ambassadors of our company and build relationships with our customers.
Able to read, write and understand English Language, as well as use navigation software.
Shift schedule varies anywhere from 5:30 am to 7:00 am start.
Assist in the warehouse 20% of the time.
Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.
Your Qualifications
Minimum of 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license.
Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (10,001- 26,000 lbs vehicle).
Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle Record.

Travel Requirements
