Job DescriptionArrival/Departure Airfield Control Group (ADACG) Coordinates the processing, loading of personnel and cargo based on deployment plans, and aircraft schedules. Performs passenger service duties to ensure quality customer service and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Defense Transportation Regulations. Performs passenger service dispatch duties, maintains aircraft status boards, receives air mission set-ups, and relays information on passenger processing and movements to the ADACG Operations/Shift leader. Coordinates and controls the processing and movement of passengers through air terminal and other designated areas. Assist deploying unit with air passenger manifesting and ensures the air manifest is legible with all required data. Briefs troop commander IAW anti-hijacking procedures, and ensures all hand carried items are within established weight and size restrictions. Provides passengers with flight information/delays. Primary purpose of the work is to provide air transportation cargo/personnel support services within a secure military deployment area. Reports to the designated aircraft-loading zone, which may be classified as a secure area. Conducts visual review/inspection of military service members to ascertain compliance with regulations/guides governing the transport of carry-on items aboard an aircraft. The Warehouse Specialist (SSA) is responsible for a variety of warehousing duties included, but not limited to, verifying materials or merchandise against receiving documents; receives, stores, stacks, or palletizes materials, and removes material from storage and prepares it for shipping. MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES: + Work with the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army) to receive, issue and storage of class II, IV and IX repair parts. + Able to work any section in the Supply Support Activity (SSA) except Shipping and Receiving section. + Locates information on issue documents (MRO) and compares information on documents with parts being pull or put-a-ways. + Selects stock in the quantities indicated by the document: reports location discrepancies, shortages, and damages to Supply Technician, Lead. + Receive turn-ins of items, inspect item conditions, and verify material numbers, nomenclature, quantity, and process of disposition. + Sign documents confirming receipt of items. + Receives incoming shipments and assists in unloading vehicles at loading ramp. + Inspects for damages, check items received against shipping documents and sign receipts as appropriate. + Unpacks or uncrates incoming shipments as required and inspect for internal damage or missing components. + Stocks warehouse according to assigned locations, restocks, and relocate items keeping the repair parts organized. + Operates Material Handling Equipment (forklifts) 2,000-6,000lbs. + Performs Preventative Maintenance Checks & Services (PMCS) before, during, and after use of forklifts. + Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. + Performs other duties as assigned. + Job duties and responsibilities may change due to contractual requirements. MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED: + Standard office equipment, associated computer applications, forklift WORKING ENVIRONMENT: + Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety vest, steel or composite shoes/boots, safety gloves, hard hat and eyewear in certain areas. + Work will typically be in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment. + There may be times when an employee is exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test. + Must have a valid REAL ID State Driver's License with no restrictions. + Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC). + Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI Tier 1 Public Trust. + Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a U.S. Passport. + Must be able to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Bragg Installation. EXPERIENCE: + Four (4) years or more experience in warehouse operations. + Strong written and verbal communications skills; ability to interact at all levels. + Forklift license and experience preferred + Knowledge of the applicable GCSS-Army and regulatory supply systems. + Knowledge of warehouse operations and the use of Protected Personal Equipment and OSHA standards + Other duties as assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives. + Organizational skills, ability to prioritize, perform with a high degree of accuracy.
