Comply with all OHSA standards and FlexCold safety policies. Monitor battery charge, maintain cleanliness of equipment, park at proper charging station, and follow battery charging procedure. Perform other duties outside of normal duties from time to time as requested. Requirements HS diploma or GED equivalent. 1+ years' operating warehouse equipment. Basic math skills. They will work directly with the Warehouse Manager to follow a packing list and select appropriate vehicles for events, considering vehicle size, event location, and necessary equipment. Primary Job Functions: Inspect all equipment prior to loading to ensure proper working order, communicate with the team if anything is lacking Help ensure scheduled event departures are met by Service team Receive deliveries and prepare product for delivery Operate a fleet of various sized vehicles (i.e., vans, sprinters, box-trucks) Help ensure safe operation of vehicles by reporting any flaws in vehicle to Warehouse Manager immediately Follow guidelines for storing equipment and adhere to safety guidelines at all times Able to work independently or as a member of a team Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times and represent Puff ' Stuff positively in front of clients and guests Skills and Knowledge Required: Time-management skills Organizational skills Efficient in movement Strong communication skills Ability to adapt to sudden changes Ability to read a room diagram/floor plan and set according to room and equipment specifics Must have a clean driving record Work Environment: Puff n' Stuff Catering's commissary building contains a 12,000 sq. ft. warehouse space consisting of catering equipment, truck loading bays, linen processing area, and dish washing area. The warehouse operates with open bay doors and is not air-conditioned. Because of this, you should expect to work in all weather conditions (ex. when it is cold outside, it is COLD inside the warehouse, when it is hot outside it is HOT in the warehouse). Physical Demands: Must be capable of lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling in excess of 50lbs Must be able to bend, reach, twist, grasp, and turn with complete flexibility Preferred Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent 1-3 years' experience in a warehouse or catering environment
