Job Description:
About the Role:
• Ensure and maintain a high level of sanitation, food safety, and safe working environment
• Operation, inspection, setup, adjustment, and basic maintenance of fluming equipment, relish cutting equipment, forklifts, hoppers, blanchers and desalt tanks
• Verify that the correct produce is being used for each area of work, including produce rotation
• Keeps inventory, loading areas and machinery clean
• Collaborate with and communicate with colleagues over the radio
• Occasionally lift items up to 50lbs
• May drive occasionally outside in weather conditions
• Start up and shut down of the PPA system for the flume and soak tanks. This includes capping the probes, and turning on and off the controller

* Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.

* Operate forklift and clamp truck to take finished goods away from press, lay down raw stock (paper or poly rolls) for next shift, return product or rolls of stock to warehouse, and receive customer owned material.
* Operate wrapper/wrap machine to wrap finished goods by following customer specification guidelines and stage product in warehouse.
* Complete and maintain records for example;
* ensuring "return to inventory" tags are initialed and filled out by operators before returning product to warehouse;
* applying customer color coded label during unloading before product is put in inventory;
* forklift safety checks.
* Conduct incoming and outgoing trailer inspections for product damage and contamination and keeping proper records as needed.
* Perform machine/forklift clean-ups as required. Maintain a clean, organized, "set in order", and "shine" environment in the work areas, i.e. sweeping dock area/warehouse, empty garbage cans, clean forklifts, assist operators with clean ups, etc.
* Attend and participate in meetings and training sessions as required (e.g. safety, quality, production, teams, informational, continuous improvement, and others as requested.
* Troubleshoot forklift or clamp truck problems and determine which problems need to escalate to maintenance and/or team coaches.

What You'll Do
Material Handling (Primary Role - ~50%)
• Supply production machines with raw materials using FIFO
• Remove, scan, and store finished goods accurately
• Process material requests within the ERP system
• Communicate with production supervisors to ensure uninterrupted workflow
• Load/unload trucks as needed
• Identify and route defective rolls
• Consolidate cartons/cases & return unused materials to proper storage
• Conduct cycle counts and bin audits
• Perform basic equipment checks (fluids, dusting, etc.)
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow forklift standards
Order Picking (~25%)
• Pick customer orders using forklifts and scanners
• Verify accuracy and product condition before shipping
• Shrink-wrap, weigh, and palletize orders
• Restock primary pick bins from secondary locations
• Document all movements in the ERP system
Shipping & Scheduling Support (~25%)
• Assist with preparing outbound shipments
• Create BOLs and shipping paperwork when filling in for the Shipping Clerk
• Route shipments using customer-preferred methods

LRC is headquartered in Green Bay at our Graham location and has three divisions - Shawano Specialty Papers, Graham Professional, and Nexxa - Print Division. Nexxa is a flexographic printing plant that supplies printed film, paper, and nonwovens to the retail towel and tissue category, as well as medical, commercial, and industrial industries.
Work Location & Schedule
Location: 2970 Walker Drive, Green Bay, WI 54311
Schedule: 12-hour 2-2-3 non-rotating schedule
Responsibilities
Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.
Support and participate in continuous improvement efforts to include Kaizen, 5S and other events, as required of this position. This includes activities to this specific position/department, as well as company-wide initiatives.
Operate forklift and clamp truck to take finished goods away from press, lay down raw stock (paper or poly rolls) for next shift, return product or rolls of stock to warehouse, and receive customer owned material.
Operate wrapper/wrap machine to wrap finished goods by following customer specification guidelines and stage product in warehouse.
Complete and maintain records for example;
ensuring “return to inventory” tags are initialed and filled out by operators before returning product to warehouse;
applying customer color coded label during unloading before product is put in inventory;
forklift safety checks.
Conduct incoming and outgoing trailer inspections for product damage and contamination and keeping proper records as needed.
Perform machine/forklift clean-ups as required. Maintain a clean, organized, “set in order”, and “shine” environment in the work areas, i.e. sweeping dock area/warehouse, empty garbage cans, clean forklifts, assist operators with clean ups, etc.
Attend and participate in meetings and training sessions as required (e.g. safety, quality, production, teams, informational, continuous improvement, and others as requested.
Troubleshoot forklift or clamp truck problems and determine which problems need to escalate to maintenance and/or team coaches.
All other assignments assigned by management.

Qualifications
Ability to perform basic computer operations such as email, data entry, navigation skills within press operation and data systems, and operate a computer keyboard
Mathematical skills required to compute percentages, weights, and must be able to measure and calculate the supplies required to complete each job as scheduled
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, such as machine operation instructions, safety instructions, etc.
Operate powered vehicles such as forklift and scissors lift, will need to be able to on and off the vehicle multiple times during the shift. Forklift and clamp truck certification
Manual dexterity and accurate eyesight, including color vision is required for workers.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Ability to successfully pass a post-offer drug screen and physical.
High school diploma/GED required.
Self-motivated, but also able to work as an effective team member.
Able to work 12- hour shifts and overtime as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Perform heavy work, defined as ability to lift up to 70 lb maximum with help, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 lbs
Work around fast-moving machinery
Walk/stand, bending, stooping, working with hands majority of the time
Exposure to noise levels and will be required to wear various PPE items based on the task being performed, including, but not limited to, hearing protection, eye protection, hat or hair net, hi-vis vest, safety shoes, cut gloves, etc.

Prepare outgoing shipments by ensuring accurate counts, proper labeling, packaging and documentation.
Move raw materials, WIP and any items tied directly to a job between work centers, staging areas and vendor locations.

Operate forklifts or other industrial equipment to move materials and ensure timely delivery to work centers.

Collaborate with team members, demonstrate strong time management, and support a clean, organized work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Experience: one - three years of relevant experience, ideally in shipping/receiving and ERP systems like Syteline/CSI.
Proficient with Windows-based computer systems.
Ability to safely operate a forklift in compliance with safety regulations.
Capable of reading and understanding sales orders, inventory records, and shipping/receiving documents.
