**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Comply with all company Safety and Security policies, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment.
+ Report injuries, accidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions to a Manager or Supervisor immediately.
+ Ensure equipment is operating properly and safely before use. Complete the required documentation to safely utilize the equipment. Report damaged equipment or damage to the facility to a Manager or Supervisor immediately.

+ Provide outstanding service to our Customers. Ensure that orders are 100% filled and on time all of the time.
+ The product is received and shipped without error.
+ Ensure that finished products are used in rotation: First-In-First-Out. Label and return all products to designated locations.
+ Follow all Quality Procedures for the Preservation, Packaging, and Storage of Products.
+ Adhere to on-call/off-call work schedule, being available on short notice around the clock and on-call week.
+ Carry out daily activities with the Supervisor and/or Manager to ensure the quality and quantity of work meet performance expectations as set by Management
+ Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are followed, and that documentation is maintained and accurate. This includes an accurate and timely transfer of materials out of the warehouse facility.
+ Conduct accurate and timely inventories of raw products, finished products, packaging, materials, and supplies, reconciling physical inventory as required.
+ Participate in training and cross-training within other areas to utilize labor efficiently and to prevent downtime or disruption to operations.
+ Assist in the loading and unloading of equipment.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
+ High school diploma or GED required,

to work in a rebar manufacturing facility in Spring Branch, TX 78070. These are ENTRY LEVEL positions. No experience necessary. We just need highly motivated candidates with strong work ethic that are looking for a full-time position with opportunity for advancement. You will be working in a non-climate control facility, bending, cutting, untangling, straightening, bundling and loading/unloading steel rebar. This job demands physical labor, and you will be working in a dusty environment! Steel toe shoes/boots are mandatory.
Tasks:
Assist in loading and unloading rebar on trailers
Tying / Bundling Rebar Materials with wire.
Work standing, unassisted for duration of shift
Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition
Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
Operate rebar fabrication equipment, such as shears, benders, wire tie links, threaders, forging tools and wire cutters.
Perform additional duties as needed
Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Must be able to pass a drug test
Must have the ability to bend, stand and lift up to 40lbs
Must have the ability to read a common tape measure

**Job Summary:**
Directs day-to-day activities of assigned warehouse Material Handlers in the receipt, storage, maintenance, and issue of stock and non-stock materials. Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and provides low cost goods and services.
**Essential Duties/Responsibilities:**
+ Recognizes safety hazards and follows safety guidelines for personal protection, protection of fellow workers and the protection of the public.
+ Directs activities by planning and assigning tasks to warehouse personnel and resolves work assignment conflicts.
+ Interfaces with Contractors, Vendors, Users, and other department personnel in support of department goals and objectives.
+ Coordinates inspections and maintains inspection logs and documents.
+ Demonstrates leadership capabilities and acts as a positive role model, accepts responsibility for crew activities. Has ability to assume duties of temporary Crew Leader when assigned.
+ Provides training to warehouse personnel as Subject Matter Expert.
+ Employee must arrange own transportation to work location and may be reassigned to another location at the Company's discretion.
**Working Conditions:**
+ Power Plant Environment-Work both inside and outside in all temperatures and climate conditions in accordance with Heat Stress procedures.
+ Work around large rotating equipment, energized electrical equipment in high noise areas, and/or in confined places, on elevations in excess of 250 feet, or from platforms at heights of 5 feet or greater. Climb stairways, ladders, and work from aerial devices.
+ Must be prepared to work irregular or rotating shifts and respond to emergency callout 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
+ Ability to work in mentally stressful environments: must be able to react to crises where immediate action is required to correct or curtail potentially damaging or hazardous situations.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ High School Diploma, GED or equivalent knowledge of English (both written and spoken), mathematics and grammar.
+ Successful completion of Material Handler Training Program or comparable experience.
+ Five years' experience in warehousing operations.
+ Have ability to discern and respond to verbal and auditory signals.
+ Ability to discern assorted colors

Essential Job Functions:
+ Deliver company materials to customers in a professional manner
+ Effectively and professionally meet and communicate with the public
+ Drive, automatic/manual transmission vehicle (safely & legally, driving violations may jeopardize your position as a driver)
+ Shipping and receiving duties; including loading and unloading trucks
+ Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders to determine items to picked, packed, distributed or shipped/transferred
+ Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
+ Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence
+ Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department
+ Use computer and RF guns to manage sales orders, inventory and enter information into business management system
+ Participate in cycle counting of physical inventory
+ Open boxes and other containers
+ Operate wire cutter to cut wire according to customer orders
+ Operate forklift in warehouse setting
+ Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
+ Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic
+ Assist customers at will call and walk-ins as required

Compensation Range:
The compensation range for this position is $18 to $20 hourly.

The ideal candidate is responsible for assisting with organizing the showroom floor and moving furniture as specified by the Visual Presentation Manager, loading and unloading customer purchases, receiving furniture shipments and assembling furniture.
