Chassis Receiver Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Receive incoming chassis shipments and compare received units against purchase orders, invoices, or packing lists. Inspect chassis components for damages, defects, or discrepancies and document findings accurately. Record relevant information such as serial numbers, batch codes, and inspection results in the company's inventory management system. Coordinate with logistics and warehouse personnel to ensure timely and efficient unloading, storage, and organization of received chassis units. Communicate any discrepancies or quality issues with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues promptly. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to implement inspection protocols and standards for incoming chassis components. Chassis Receiver Required Education, Knowledge & Skills: Proven experience in quality control, inspection, or a related field, preferably in automotive manufacturing or transportation. Familiarity with chassis components, shipping and receiving procedures, inventory control systems, and quality standards. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or abnormalities in components. Proficiency in using computerized inventory management systems and basic office software. Proficiency in using measurement tools such as tape measures. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of safety protocols and practices in a manufacturing or industrial setting. These include dock handler, pick station operator, material handler, over wrap operator, order checker, conditioning chamber, consolidation & small quantity warehouse.
