At a Glance:
The Material Handler is primarily responsible for effectively and efficiently receiving, binning, issuing and transporting material at the FlexRig Machinery Center. This position is located in Tulsa, OK.
What you will do:
Review packing slips against purchase orders and material delivered for accuracy and complete receipt transactions
Load and unload delivery trucks
Ensure inventory accuracy regularly by completing cycle counts when issuing material
Has responsibility to identify and work to resolve discrepancies in inventory
Complete transactions in the inventory system for receipts, transfers and adjustments
Responsible for material movement throughout the facility
Assist in maintaining the condition and security of the warehouse and yards
Handle phone calls, mail, typing scanning & copying needs
Frequent contact with office, shop, field operations and engineering to give and receive information
Frequent contact with suppliers and trucking companies

What you need:
High school degree or GED equivalent
Previous material handling, and/or receiving experience preferred
Thorough knowledge of inventory/warehousing practices and procedures
Thorough knowledge of purchasing, warehousing and distributing material
Good PC skills: Excel, Word, etc. Able to learn inventory system(s)
Good written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively
Able to operate forklift, aerial work platforms, and other material handling equipment

Packaging & Labeling: Read Bills of Material or follow oral instructions to accurately identify and prepare materials for production or shipment. You will package parts diligently, attach identifying tags or labels, and assemble crates to contain and protect products.
Safety & Organization: Lift heavy objects by hand or with power hoists, adhering to all safety protocols. You will also maintain a clean and organized work area, including machines and equipment, to support a safe and productive environment.
What You'll Bring to the Team
Material Handling Experience: Proven ability to safely load, unload, and move materials within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Documentation & Detail Orientation: The ability to read and interpret Bills of Material or accurately follow oral instructions, with a strong attention to detail for accurate labeling and marking.
Equipment Operation: Demonstrated proficiency in operating industrial forklifts. Experience with overhead cranes is also preferred.

Job Description

* Fulfillment of CPE and Material orders to various boundary partners (Field Service Technicians, Installation Contractors, Solution Stores, 3rd Party Stores, etc.) as well as monitoring inventory levels and restocking appropriately.
* Utilizes Warehouse Management System (WMS) applications & scanners to perform warehouse functions.
* Processes CPE returns by utilizing WMS application to prepare CPE returns for shipment back to the PDC. Includes sorting, boxing, labeling, shrink wrapping & staging of CPE returns on pallets.
* Monitor and restock Quick Pick locations to maintain adequate inventory levels.
* Utilizes light warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks and carts.
* Displays necessary skills needed to safely operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and larger delivery vehicles, which are used to provide pickup, delivery, and loading/unloading of CPE, materials, equipment, and mail.
* May assist in daily cycle counts to audit physical and systemic accuracy of inventory at a warehouse or assigned to boundary partner.

QUALIFICATIONS

**ROTATIONAL SCHEDULE:** **_This is a year-round position; current rotation is 3 months on and 1 month away from the site_**
**In this role, you will:**
+ Provide on-site shipping and receiving materials and construction equipment.
+ Provide on-site inventory control and management of all SERCO assets.
+ Provide on-site tools management.
+ Provide on-site hazardous material inventory, control and overall management.
+ Provide on-site flammable storage inventory and control of all flammable materials and liquids.
+ Assist the SERCO travel office with housing arrangements for arriving workforce personnel, to include meal card distribution, room preparation prior to arrival, and return flight coordination.
+ Maintain inventory status in Serco's warehouse management software suite.
+ Initiate purchase requests for site supplies and misc. materials.
+ Proactively resolve material and logistical problems or issues with the Serco management team and other subcontractors.
+ Work with Serco's vehicle supplier to coordinate vehicle use and transport of personnel to and from the site.
+ Coordinate shipping plans and documentation with other Serco warehouse sites as necessary.
+ Track and report large purchase order status as necessary with support from Serco's purchasing group.
+ Be present at the work site, attend and report weekly plan updates as it pertains to logistic, hazardous material or flammable container issues.
+ The logistician typically reports to the Site Superintendent or Project Manager.
**To be successful in this role, you will have:**

The Warehouse Picker is responsible for accurately selecting, staging, and preparing products for customer orders in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role ensures that products are picked correctly, handled safely, and prepared for timely delivery to customers.
The schedule for this position is from 9:00 AM until approximately 6:00 PM, based on business needs.
Responsibilities
Accurately pick products according to customer order sheets or RF scanning system.
Maintain a pick rate of 150 cases per hour with high accuracy and minimal errors.
Build and stage pallets in a safe, organized manner for delivery routes.
Verify product codes, quantities, and order accuracy before staging.
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks safely.
Understands and follows proper procedures for handling damaged products and repackaging.
Conducts pre-operation inspections of warehouse equipment to ensure safe and proper function.
Performs quarterly maintenance checks, including monitoring water levels and battery condition on equipment.
Follow company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Support general warehouse operations including housekeeping tasks.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Highschool diploma or GED equivalent
Previous warehouse, distribution or order-picking experience is preferred
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures
Ability to obtain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification to safely operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack etc.)
Basic math and reading skills for order verification
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Physical Demands: This role requires regular standing, walking and reaching. Must be able to regularly lift and move products ranging from 25 to 170 pounds, as well as climb, reach, and perform other physical movements necessary to carry out the essential duties of the position. Work is performed in a warehouse environment where steel-toed footwear is required.

POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Warehouse Operator your primary duty will be to service, protect and care for our customers goods that are stored in our facility warehouse space. In this role you will be tasked with operating various pieces of warehouse equipment to accomplish work activity. On a daily basis it will be the principal duty of the Warehouse Operator to carefully unload, inspect, stack and store, and eventually pick and ship customers products diligently and with a high degree of safety in mind. Operators will need to be good at counting, keeping track and documenting all activity pertaining to loading, unloading and storing customer goods. The employee will have a good understanding of warehouse processes and flow of goods in and out of the facility.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Conduct all warehouse functions guided by company policies and procedures, safety, customer requests and the Customer Service Department
Support and abide by the company's safety and security programs, initiatives, policies and procedures
Complete warehouse tasks utilizing RF Scanners, forklifts (sit down and standup) pallet jacks, stretch wrappers etc.
Receiving Freight:
Unload material off semi-truck trailers
Inspect, account and receive product into the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Count all product and measure against work orders to ensure accuracy of shipment
Report shortages/overages/damages/mis-shipments on appropriate forms or scanners
Efficiently stack and store product in a manner that will not damage products
Compare to manifest and check all shipments for seals, damage, infestation and unique product identifiers (lots, batches, serial numbers, etc.)
Inventory:
Store product in a manger that meets product storage comingling requirements
Always account for inventory moves in the WMS
Report any changes, damages or deterioration in stored product
Always stack and store product that is neat and organized
Order Picking:
Ensure that the correct product and quantity is picked, and the physical inventory matches the work orders
When picking, pick in a manner that prevents any type of product damage
Stage and conduct one final inspection of product to ensure product is damage free and the physical inventory matches the work order
Shipping Freight:
Ensure completeness and accuracy of outbound shipments
Ensure the product is handled in a manner that keeps the product damage free when loading product onto trailers
Inspect and clean trailers to ensure trailer is free of any debris or contaminates that could potentially damage the product
Understands trailing loading and weight distribution requirements
Secure freight in conjunction with customer requirements
Verify that the trailer is properly sealed
Communicate with the CSR, Traffic and Supervisor when load is complete
Equipment:
Maintain the equipment in a neat, clean and orderly fashion
Operate equipment safely and efficiently that complies with OSHA and company standards of operation
Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary
Other Duties:
Maintain a neat, clean and orderly work area and ensure company housekeeping policies and procedures are kept
Assist in cleaning warehouse, trailers, railcars and grounds as needed
Complete all duties in a manner that promotes safety at all times
Lump, package, repack, rework, kitting and light assembly of customer's products
Any additional duties as assigned by management

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
This role is performed in a fabrication shop environment and requires the ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation, including:
Standing, walking, bending, and working on your feet for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift).
· The position involves frequent physical labor, including lifting and carrying heavy items up to 50 pounds. Candidates must be able to safely handle these tasks and perform additional physical duties as needed to support operations.
Performing physical activities requiring use of arms, legs, and full-body movement (e.g., uneven surfaces, stand/sit long periods of time, bending, stooping, hard surfaces, climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching).
Visual acuity is necessary to read blueprints, measure components, and inspect welds for quality and accuracy.
Must be able to tolerate exposure to varying temperatures, dust, noise, and fabrication shop conditions.
Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), which may include welding hood, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel-toed boots.
