Purpose Statement The Warehouse Coordinator/Admin performs various administrative tasks including managing the process of inbound and outbound trucks and working as a key communications link with the warehouse. This includes the accurate and timely handling of customer orders, recording of materials, products and supplies and communicates with internal and external Key Accountabilities and Outcomes * Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in compliance with housekeeping safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements. * Adhere to GMP guidelines for personal practices regarding hygiene and cleanliness. * Coordinating and reserving daily inbound and outbound truck schedules, work activities and accurately entering data into our Warehouse Management System. * Receiving next-day shipping needs and pre-staging loads as required. * Rearranging work assignments as required by truck schedule changes, production changes, work requirements or other issues. * Recording materials received for finished goods shipped on the daily tally sheets. * Accurately completing tally sheets and turning them in timely * Accurately checking and signing off on team E-Time timecards for both shifts. * Applies all GMPs and safety requirements, both personal hygiene and housekeeping, associated with these tasks. * Identifies problems at his/her assigned work tasks on an on-going basis and determines if solution is within his/her training and knowledge; if so, corrects problem; if not or if not sure, communicates to appropriate person for solution. * Develops and maintains a good working relationship with Warehouse Group Leaders and other managers, team members, and other co-workers. Resolves problems and conflicts in an acceptable manner that shows respect for the other person(s). * Follows plant rules and policies and Company code of ethics in performing job. * Entering orders or requests for raw materials accurately and in a timely manner and printing out the necessary register * Ensuring order registers are picked up by plant order person and product is delivered in a timely fashion. * Ensuring the efficient return of unused raw materials to inventory * Reserving freezer space for the daily plant production in a timely and efficient manner and in accordance with preset guidelines; printing out the production register and distributing as necessary having knowledge of warehouse dumps procedure and handling those not requiring team leader approval. * reserving product for outbound shipments, double-checking for errors or problems, * Performing other functions of the Warehouse Management System as necessary and according to preset guidelines * Follows safety practices and identifies/corrects potential hazards. * Attend and complete any RPC sponsored training. * Learn and participate in required TPM activities including AM models. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. * Work well with others and function in a team environment. * Safely operate all required equipment. * Must be able to move extremities and the spine through a functional range of motion allowing safe maneuvering of product from floor to overhead while material handling. The ability to work in awkward postures is occasionally required when performing all aspect of job. * Must have sufficient strength in the trunk and extremities to perform tasks in multiple positions from the floor to overhead while material handling. * Reaching- Associate must be able to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction while material handling. * Handling- Associate must be able to seize, hold and grasp items typical of this job throughout the work period. * Fingering- Associate must be able to pinch and work primarily with the fingers throughout the workday. * Associate must demonstrate sufficient capacity to lift, carry and push-pull. * Associate must also possess excellent balance to maintain equilibrium in all positions. * The Distribution Warehouse Associate at Raymour & Flanigan meets the minimal physical demands consistent with a classification of Very-HEAVY. This rating is set forth by The United States Department of Labor. * As a Distribution Warehouse Associate, the associate is exposed to a few slip and trip hazards. Pallets on the floor, wet weather, cold/hot temperatures on the loading dock and out in the yard. Warehouse temperature is mechanically heated, not cooled. The worker is exposed to cold, as they are required to work in and out of unheated trailers. PPE Required; Steel toe shoes and fall protection Harness.
